All of these work for Option 3.

Yes I did and I'm sorry for that. The book you chose for Option 3 are perfect.

Isn't it fun being a task creator?

Oops, I'm sorry about that and they're just fine.

message 61: by Cindy AL (new)

Cindy AL (cangelmd) | 645 comments Sorry I got impatient Laurie. The color/object on the cover tasks are fun because they are general and can be made to fit almost all readers, but they can be challenging (read: a pain for the task creator) when you are the arbiter of color or object!

No problem at all. Don't hesitate to poke at me if I miss anything!

message 63: by Sheila (new)

Sheila (sheilaj) | 2221 comments I've found that to be SO true Cindy. I have created or co-created tasks for the last 9 or 10 SRC seasons and I have learned to try to avoid cover options. After 20 or so people ask "is this cover green enough?", it teaches me NOT to do that option next season.

I like the cover options though, but it is a pain for the creator.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1114 comments I had a cover-color task a while back. (Before the creation of the 20-point tasks, I think... Is that showing my challenge age?) It IS sort of a pain, but I liked seeing all the covers together. I was like, "If you asked someone what color the cover of your book was, they shouldn't hesitate before saying, 'yellow' or whatever color..." haha! I wasn't planning on doing any geometry to figure out what percent green a cover was!

Vicky (librovert) | 240 comments What about Siren's Call (Dark Tides, #1) by Devyn Quinn for Option 3? The water is a little dark but the sky is all kinds of bright!

It's got at least 3 colors, so it's fine.

Yes they all work just fine for gaudy covers ... as long as they work for page numbers you're more than all set.
