I just joined the group yesterday and want to sign up for this challenge. I will plan on participating at Level Three.I will be keeping record of my progress on a Google Doc spreadsheet and will edit this post as I finish flavors.

I just did the math on this one, and maybe I shouldn't have. I've been working on this since Aug 2012 and I still have 759 letters to go! 133 of those are Es, 89 Os, 80 As, 57 Is, and 50 Us. That's a lot of vowels! I knew this one would take awhile.....
LOL Christine I started about the same time, but I don't think I want to know how many I have left.
I'm still working on the first half of the challenge (the current flavors), and I have 341 letters left. Of those, 132 are vowels - including 40 E's. I'm actively searching for books with authors and titles that are both vowels.Haven't even started the second half. Not thinking about it yet! *laugh*

Oh my, I admire your restraint! I've been working on both parts since Day 1 and it's still going to take me forever to finish this thing LOL I have 10 or so letters already done -- I can't use anymore of them in either section of the challenge. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to finish a book that I can't use either the title OR the author's name *sigh*

First finished flavor of 'fourteen! Fun! :D *takes a bow*I actually set myself a challenge for this flavor - since it's "Pistachio Pistachio," I set out to read books with the same letter for author and title. So the first "pistachio" is all titles, and the second "pistachio" is the same books in the same order, but the authors.
...can we talk about how hard it is to do that with the letter I? Just sayin'.

On the bright side, I've now discovered Isaac Asimov, and if the rest of his writings are as good as I, Robot, then the man is brilliant!
