Ooh I love Roarke in Memory. Not that I didn't already, but I love him even more!

That reminds me...there's a great scene here we need to post in the Specual Moments thread!!! Do you want to do it, Quynh?

You can add it if you want Jonetta! I'll contribute with more comments and praises how wonderful Roarke is. :D

I have just read, within the past 4 days, "Witness in Death" and "Judgement in Death". Wow. I absolutely loved them! I especially enjoyed "Judgement in Death". I loved how Roarke's role was so important and all the "head-to-head" between Eve and Roarke because of it! So well written... So of course, as soon as finished that one yesterday morning, I bought "Betrayal in Death" (what would I do without my Kindle???). I have just started it last night and so far, excellent. This series just keep getting better and better!

I am listening the MP3 of Celebrity. Because it is an MP3 I can only listen to in the car. The thing is, it makes me want to stay in the car more.

Whenever y'all want to...need to check in the buddy read thread and see if everyone is finished with Immortal.

That works for me Michelle..Let's see what everyone else says...And we have a new book coming out to read in there too!

We're all waiting for that one! Meantime, we're rereading the series in the buddy read. Join the discussions anytime!

Wow, just finished the first book. Thank you everyone for encouraging me to start from the beginning. Can't wait to read book two.

It still amazes me that there are so many books in this series and yet they never get old or too repetitive. Enjoy Rose! Jump in any of the discussions.

Just started Kindred. I have the new one, so I'm excited ! I read them aloud to my sister. I started them 10 years ago, but am rereading some, first-time reading the others. It's funny - my sister never liked this type of book before, but she loves these! The banter between characters really makes her LOL... The dialogue is the best part, I think.

I agree, Donna. I love the humorous banter between characters. I really do laugh out loud sometimes when I'm reading them.

Sounds good y'all! I'm hoping to read it this weekend. Darn these other commitments! And for some crazy reason, my hubby seems to think I should still be cooking, cleaning, washing, and waiting on him...Man just never has gotten his priorities straight! Books first - the rest of life: Whenever!! LOL

Just started Thankless in Death today, about a quarter through it and seems to be a good, solid addition to the series. Looking forward to the holiday scenes I'm sure will be coming.

Finished last night. This is one of those series that I stay up and finish regardless of bedtime. Liked the plotline, liked the 'local' rather than national or international connections, pleased with the way the author is 'maturing' Eve's personality and career. Very much enjoyed the family/friends scenes as well and the quick look at some of my favorite past characters.

Oh, I agree! You're in the sweet spot of the series where they're each really good. But Innocent is in my top 5. Would love your feedback on it when you're finished.

Just half way into Purity. Have found the last few books have taken it up a notch and getting better and better, not that it needed to was awesome already.

Reading Taken in Death, then I'll be waiting (im)patiently for Concealed in Death, which won't be out until 02-2014 :(

I picked up Mirror, Mirror yesterday. Just waiting because I haven't gotten Thankless yet. I don't want to spoil myself.

Good idea Susan. I haven't read Thankless yet altho it's sitting on my Kindle. I'm just in the middle of so many other books right now - including just finishing my reread of Rapture - plus, I get a bit of a tingle just knowing it's sitting there waiting for me when I'm ready! *smiles*

@Sandra, Thank you, Starshine, you're absolutely right!

Something I can't identify with at all, I wish I could!

LOL...no, not normally, Sandi. I've really just been in the middle of too much to sit down and enjoy it. Normally, I consume a book like that the first day I get it, but I'm committed to several Buddy Reads, Challenges, Monthly Reads, etc., that I just couldn't start it yet. I'm itching too, though so it won't be long.

Nice point! So many good books to anticipate, Carol. Keep on, keeping on. We'll discuss them with you in the appropriate thread anytime.
