The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen seemed a bit formulaic (controlling, manipulative husband, abusive relationship) until the end of part one where the first major twist made me realise all was not what it seemed. After that I got pulled it and enjoyed the rest of the book. 4★ from me.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Out of genre, although maybe you could squeeze it into "cosy" if you tried really hard, but I really enjoyed this new to me author, and number 1 in a series. Since Christmas Day I have been looking for "feel good" reads, and this one fit the bill (as well as setting me up to read number 2 in the series for a 2018 challenge!) My last book for 2017!Lawyer for the Dog by Lee Robinson ★★★★

Aussie Readers A-Z challenge [C - cat on the cover]Lawyer for the Cat by Lee Robinson
#2 in the series, some have classified this as a mystery, if so it is a very light mystery. But both books in the series feelgood easy reads and would recommend to anyone who likes cat/dog related stories ★★★☆
