Not tried this author, I've had The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas waiting on the pile for a few years now.

Two very different books, both well worth reading!

PattyMacDotComma | 818 comments Into the River (or Wimmera) shows the dark side of the 1980s for two Aussie schoolboys. Good mystery, but not a comfy cosy one!
Into the River by Mark Brandi 4.5★ Link to my review

Kerri_M | 785 comments Just finished The Lost Man by Jane Harper.

In spite of the great reviews this book has been getting, I realised when I was 3 or 4 chapters in that I had somehow reduced my expectations of it. I mean, new author, can't expect the standard of the first two to be maintained in every book, can wee? Yes we can.

The Lost Man by Jane Harper ★★★★★

PS - listened to this one on Audio - and interview with the writer and the narrator at the end was really interesting.
