Ohhhh.. Same here, Jenny!! Maybe when I retire I can convert my office into a library. I need to start pinning library ideas!

I also have 4 of those 9 box "cubbie" sort of shelves from Target. I originally got them for fabric, but they've gotten filled up with books! I really want those bookshelves back again; they're beautiful, glass shelves with lights on top - got them at Sam's Club one year. Even with all the books I already had, I hadn't yet filled them. Now I think I may come close : )
And then there's always the stack of 4-5 that's either on the nightstand or on the floor next to the bed. And the one that's usually in my laptop case.
Oh! And that book I forgot and left with my mom for her to read:

Yep, I about fell over dead when I saw Eleanor & Park. Could. Not. Believe. It. I snapped that baby up so fast!
OK Karen, I won't tear up Mists of Avalon for bookmarks. I'm sure I have something in a box that would do even better - Mark's got all these dry commentaries and I'm sure he'd give one up (lol!)

One word: KINDLE

These past 2 years, my word is NOOK. I can't imagine if I had hardcovers of all those books too! ;-)

Thank you for not tearing up Mists of Avalon. I need to go find my copy to make sure it's safe and sound! ;-)

Yeah, that is my point. I used to have three large bookcases of books and smaller ones too. No more. Never again. I carry hundreds of books on my Kindle. Very efficient, and don't even need a lamp to read it.

Won books:

Umm and I suppose recent purchases/freebies ive snagged up:

think that's all.... *blush* Gonna go hid under the covers now and hope I don't get buried in by my books. lol

So jealous about the HP books! I am on the lookout for hardcovers in great condition.
Picked up these at the library tonight -

I know the feeling! I honestly did a little dance in the middle of the book section when I found each one. Totally worth the search though. I'll be interested to see what you think of Girl of Fire and Thorns. I had mixed feelings about it.

Natalie, I could suggest books to you all day long!! I see you like contemporaries--if you haven't read
yet, that is my fave YA contemporary ever!
is also really good!

Its not a YA book, but its one of my favorite books ever, and its on sale for $2.99 today on Amazon!!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ref=...
Its a time-travel/historical story, but its much more about slavery and human rights than anything. A fantastic book!! Its one of those books that I think everyone should read!

WOAH, David, I would say so!! I started reading A Game of Thrones awhile ago, but I never finished, I'm on like page 82, so if you want to read it together, I will :) And I'll read Inferno with you, too :)

I have a small spot in my bedroom for one more set of tall and skinny bookshelves. Right now, the books are all piled up in that spot by the wall until I find one.
I also have 30 or so in a laundry basket in my closet. EEK! I need to have a room dedicated just for books. An actual library--one of my biggest dreams!!
