I think I'm going to end up reading it back to back with - it looks like they use the same gimmick (secret society of reincarnated people working to make the world a better place), but are in very different genres (one is YA paranormal, the other is adult SF).

When I was in 8th grade, I moved from a medium sized city to a super small little town. It annoyed the crap out of me how the kids in my class all said and did everything alike, there was no diversity whatsoever. One of the things that bugged me the most, was how much they said the word, "Duh". But after a few weeks, I found myself saying it all the time! We had a student teacher that year, and she complained of the same thing. She thought it was ridiculous, but she started saying it all the time, too!

So just watch, in a few weeks of hanging out with us, you will be Woot wooting along with the rest of us! LOL

I bought book one in the Mortal Instruments series. I also bought "The Kid", a biography of Ted Williams
