It all starts when Judith Carstairs goes to a party on Sunday night (which she's pretty sure she's going to hell for) and ends with her being turned into a vampire… sort of.
Jude has a week to make it through the transition period without drinking blood if she wants to be human again, but with an English test, a delicious smelling best friend, and her handsome sire with a baby sister who hates her, it's going to be hard to keep her cool. Then there's the fact her parents are getting home from a business trip on Saturday, and oh yeah, there's that one werewolf named Kyle...

One of the things I loved about TWIWAV is that the female protagonist, Jude, didn't follow the trend I have come to see in many books: She was not torn between two boys. Also, she made smart decisions and ended up being true to her beliefs. Additionally, she took her feelings slow in a cautious manner. I'm not knocking love-at-first-sight type of things because for some people those feelings are very real. But for our girl, she was more level headed. I appreciated that. It lent credibility to her somehow. TWIWAV was an easy read that had some fun characters. I really can't wait to read more of Lux in Star Fall!
I just finished it and I'm still not sure what I thought about it. Okay for what it was, but sometimes all the "she" usage made it a little hard to follow - as did the lack of italics use when someone was talking to Jude in her head.
Seemed a little all over the place but okay for what it was.
