LOL! I was brave. I read recently "You should do one scary thing every day." Can't remember where I read it, but it's good advice! Jenny I absolutely would have gotten them signed! Here's what I did buy:




I went all speechless fangirl (I am such an idiot) and couldn't think of what to have Colleen Hoover put on Losing Hope - so I said, "I dunno, something clever?" So she wrote "something clever" and signed her name - LOL! They didn't have Hopeless, which was disappointing, but there will be another time. I'm definitely going to do this again. I met a girl who's a blogger, so I'm going to look her up both here and on her blog. It was a fun night.

Now I'm going to be on the lookout for signings with Tahereh Mafi, Beth Revis, Dan Wells, Veronica Roth, Veronica Rossi, etc. I live near 3 major cities, so it shouldn't be terribly difficult and now I know what to expect. Fun night. Wish I coulda had my book buddies with me!

And, of course if DAVID could just decide to do a book signing tour, then I'd actually travel to Iowa or Phoenix or wherever!

One last thing - I couldn't believe I was in a big bookstore last night buying books and it was OCTOBER 21!!!!! ONE DAY! ONE DANGED DAY!

LOL I am so proud of you! I knew you'd have fun!! That's really good advice--its always good to get out of your comfort zone!

I'm going to be doing something new and fun and a bit scary in a couple of weeks! Can't wait for my next adventure!

LOL on Colleen Hoover, she sounds like she's be awesome to meet! I so agree with the David comment, I'd drive quite a ways I'm sure :)

Picked up today for my brand-new Kindle :) (I finally replaced my old Nook Simple Touch, which hasn't been able to connect to the internet since December...) Then I started reading and was utterly lost. So I'm off to reread Insurgent. :P

Oh geez, now I've done it. I'm waiting for my hardback copy of to go with my hardbacks of the first 2 books. But decided that I needed Allegiant right now. So bought it on ecopy just now. But... I can't just own the last book of a series on my Nook without having the entire series... so bought and too. Oyyy... ;-)
