I think Adrian is a great character, probably the best VA/Bloodlines series has but some twisted part of me wants to see him become a Strigoi. And not just a crappy, creepy Strigoi like Dimitri.
He should become like Tom Hardy's Bane in The Dark Knight Rises! That would be amazing!!!

If I could change anything I would have Richelle Mead write a very lengthy desciption of Adrians abs and then put it somewhere inside the book. I don't really care where. Because a shritless Adrian= PURE AWESOMENESS!!!

Not this fan. I love Sydney. By the end of the VA books I only "tolerated" Rose. Didn't hate her, but was more than ready to move on from her.

True love is a very powerful thing but it is not a justification to do whatever you want. If someone has to ruin another persons life to get their happy ending then they don't deserve it.

I wouldn't change a thing, even though the ending made me want to rip my hair out. There's a reason I keep coming back to read Richelle Mead's books, and endings like that are a big part of it. Also, as to your earlier question about Sydney and Adrian; I really hope they end up together! If Sydney doesn't get with him, it is because of her own prejudices.

I actually think she got better as the books progressed.

I agree with you. I like her but she is so harsh sometimes. I hated her when she lied to Adrian about Vegas. She went for Dimitri, she could at least have told him that. Maybe it was not her intention but she used Adrian a lot, first Russia, then Vegas and don't even get me started about Last Sacrifice. I like Rose a lot, she is awesome, but I am still angry with her because of her cheating on Adrian.
Wow okay there are like 5 different topics going on for this discussion. The book ending. I loved it, I did feel bad for Adrian, but I think its unrealistic to have Sydney give up everything in one fell swoop. I do think that Adrian and Sydney will get together eventually, I think the guy who left the alchemist is going to play a big role in helping Sydney and reforming the alchemist. and lets not forget.. LOVE CONQUERS ALL...
Second.. Rose I like the fact that these books are not involving her yet. Its not her story. Yes I think there will be appearances by Rose, Christian, and Lissa as well as Abe (who I love).
Third Rose is young and she loves Dmitri and I think she honestly loved Adrian too, but she didn't want to deal with allot of Adrian's issues. Don't blame her there, Adrian said it best in the book to Sydney.. I tried to be good because I wanted her to want me.. With you.. You make me want to be a better person. (I know it’s not the exact quote but you get my meaning)
Fourth Adrian being different is natural, he's had his heart broken, he's now bonded to someone and he's got to straighten out because what he does affects Jill, and as you get older and learn you grow and change. Life is funny that way..

Exactly. It wasn't convinient for Rose's Happily ever after to have to deal with little issues like endangering Jill, Eddie's career, Sydney's life and Adrian's broken heart so they are all just forgotten.
"Lets act like it never happened!" seems to be the way that Rose and Dimitri deal with the aftermath of their crap.
Rose didn't say a single word to him in Bloodlines and Dimitri actually has the balls to lecture Adrian on his 'work ethic' in TGL after he himself became a mass murdering monster, guilt ridden wimp, controlling emotionless robot and finally girlfriend stealling hypocrit? Really?
I think both Rose and Dimitri need a serious ego check in the form of a dump truck being driven up their asses just to show them how full of it they are.

I've LOVED Adrian ever since he first showed up in VA but Sydney has always rubbed me the wrong way. She just frustrates me so much. Sure, Adrian has his vices, but her "no humans mixing with vampires/magic" and her struggles back and forth with her loyalty to Alchemist traditions is incredibly annoying; I'm just like "make a decision already!" In all, Adrian is such a fascinating character to me and Sydney is just... not.

I love the book so much. Though, I miss Rose. I want to see more Rose in the future. Sydney and Adrian. TOTALLY AWESOME. SYDRIAN. Adrian doesn't have to do anything to impress Sydney like he did to Rose, so Adrian is better with Sydney. Rose and Dimitri, perfect. I hate to admit this but to me, i feel more connected and attached to Sydney than Rose, but I adore them both.

I know right! Sure, she is not flawless. She make mistakes just like all of us and she try to fix her mistakes. She fight for her friends and family. I understand that people don't like her, probably because she might do things that they wouldn't do, so they think that is stupid. However, that is what makes characters interesting, fun and enjoyable.

1. I seriously can't wait to know how is gonna be Adrian's new competition. I hope he's human!
2. Like Richelle Mead said, Rose and all the others are gonna be background characters who come in and just say hi! I like 'em that way.
3. It was always gonna be Rose and Dimitri. I'm pretty sure even Team Adrian's fans knew that. But that doesn't mean that I like how Adrian got treated. It was SO UNFAIR for him. Rose just crushed his heart! Adrian deserves WAY better love than what Rose gave him.
4. Adrian is supposed to be different. He's got dumped, the bond with Jill, and so much more going on that just "partying". I have to say; Adrian has me voting for him!

I don't think the author will do that since she is trying to write a new story with a new main character. While I love Rose and Dmitri if she puts them in there anymore I personally think it will just take away from Sydney and her story and even Adrian.

Agreed. I hated her after she decided that Adrian is not good enough for her. Sure she gave him a chance, but she NEVER really did give her a chance. The whole time she was with him, she was thinking of Dimitri, and the whole time she was with Dimitri she barely thought of Adrian at all.
One thing I would have changed from the Golden Lily was that instead of Sonya being captured, Adrian should have been captured and Trey would have been fighting to kill Adrian, and Sydney would have freaked out. That would have been an amazing scene.
