Lets start a story of our own!One word only!
"Listen. You know I'm not that good at comforting people!! So I usually just make really bad jokes until a) they forget whatever it was that they were freaked out about or b) they get mad and have the desire to kill me... Most of the time it's b..." Will explained."Well, I can connect with those people since I want to kill you right now!" she said angrily.
But Will knew that she was back to her old self since she was threatening him again. Plus she walked over to him and gave him a quick kiss on the lips, before saying that she needed to go get ready for the day.
[[ People are really starting to kill this story now by ripping it apart between being Team Jem and Team Will, can everyone just go with the flow please? THANKS. (: ]]

Why is Tessa kissing Will freely? Seriously? Does Will have the 'curse'? Please clear my doubts. Thanks.)
Will moaned suddenly. He grimaced.
'Ugh. I...,Jem-' Will disappeared in a cloud of sparkly black smoke.
Jem blinked. 'Oh my god. Will!!?'
"Will, This is not funny! Henry! What did you do to him!??!" Henry ran into the room, "Did it work?" he asked, panting.
"If making Will disappear was your plan, than yes." Henry frowned and looked suddenly hurt. "Oh. I'd better fix that."
Jem stared at the empty space where Will had stood just seconds ago. "Will? can you hear me? are you invisible?!" asked Jem a slight panic surfacing in his soft voice
He frowned when there was no reply.
"Henry! Where have you sent Will?!.
Henry scratched his head "er I'm not quite sure. He could be anywhere really. The invention was meant to transport him wherever he wanted to go. Only I forgot to ask him where he was headed. I think I should go back to my notes."
Jem tried to keep calm as Henry hurried out of the room. "Where could Will want to go" he wondered, quickly following Henry to his laboratory in the crypt.
They were walking past Tessa's room when they heard her scream, Will laughing, and a thwack caused probably by something of Tessa's hitting WIll on the head."I think I found Will..." Jem said sarcastically.
They knocked on Tessa's door and her her ask, "Jem? Is that you?
"Yeah," he said laughing.
"Can you please come extricate this insane thing from my room?" she yelled.
'I am not a thing.' Will said, amused. He came out of the door. His hair was slightly mused.
'Hello, Henry. You could make more improvements on that. My compliment.' Will said.
He went out of the Institute.
Henry shook his head sadly, his brow creased in thought."Don't worry about him, Henry," Jem said. "Your invention did work . . . it sent Will where he wanted to go." That last bit came out sounding a little bitter. 'With Tessa,' Jem thought. 'Will only wants to be with Tessa.'
"If you'd excuse me Henry," Jem said, swiftly turning on his heel. He flitted back to his room, feeling as if his heart might break. He grabbed his box of yin fen and took a pinch of the drug to try to quell the deep ache. He took some more. He kept taking small bits of the silver powder until he could no longer remember what had put the ache in his chest in the first place.
Tessa quietly knocked on his door, as if afraid that loud noises would make him upset at her."Jem?" she called timidly. "Can I come in? I want to talk to you."
"Sure." he growled. "Come in and break my heart some more!"
She walked in almost silently, but when she noticed the white powder on his fingertips and saw the box of yin fen clutched in his arms; she ran across the room to his side.
"Jem! What are you doing?!? How much of this stuff did you take?" she asked horrified. "Oh, no... This is all my fault! I'm such an idiot! Dang it, dang it, dang it!! Everyone here would be better off if Nathaniel hadn't given me to those stupid Sisters."
She crying by the end of that, and Jem was scared.
"Tess? Tess!"
Finally, he just gave her a hug, hoping to calm her down.
"You're not that bad," Jem drawled
"really?" Tessa asked " Then tell me why do you exceed your dose of yin fen?"Jem didn't respond so she started to cry loudly "it was because of me,right?, you dont really want me to be with Wil" Tessa looked at Jem"Tell me if is that James"
Jem sighed heavily, lying was something he hated to do but he didn't want to make Tessa feel guilty."I was in pain and I took the yin fen because it makes me numb." He said in a steady voice as he diverted his gaze away from her.
"Liar" she said accusingly. Jem shook his head. "I want you to be happy Tessa" he gave her an artificial smile, "happy with Will".
"And you're killing yourself for it" she finished.
"No! I'm killing myself because it keeps me alive!" he said exasperated."I don't understand... Are you sure you've looked everywhere else for a cure; absolutely EVERYWHERE?" she asked even though she already knew the answer.
Jem just looked at her with the saddest look in his eyes and nodded slowly. Tessa had finally stopped crying and Jem was very thankful for that; he wasn't sure how to comfort her anymore. Tessa was just thankful that he was here with her now, so she wrapped her arms around his waist and gave him a gentle squeeze.
"Thank you," Jem said, finally calm. "You don't know how much you have helped me since you came here."
"Yes, I do. I haven't. I've only made it worse."

No he isn't cursed... He only thought that he was because of his sister's death.

After her last statement, Tessa left Jem's room feeling worse that she had when she first walked in. She accidentally ran face first into Will's chest. He took one look at her distraught expression, knew at once what the problem was, and wrapped her in his arms."You went to see Jem didn't you?" he asked matter of factually.
"Yes," she said her voice muffled into his chest, sniffling. "He's been overdosing the yin fen and I know that it's my fault even if he won't tell me that it is."
"No, it's not your fault," Will told her. "It's mine. I shouldn't have taken you from Jem."
"I would've come to you eventually, you just spend it up by saying what you did."
((guys can we take a break with the romance please??? its been, i love him and he loves me but i love the other guy too....blah blah.....lets get some action and adventure and less of tessa and jem being whiny about their love lives....will is the only one not complaining))

After, Will went to go talk to Jem, Tessa decided to go talk to Jessamine. As Will, was talking to Jem they heard Tessa scream and the sound of metal grating against metal.
((thanks a bunch))They looked at each other and imeadiatly ran for Tessa's room. Will threw open the door and took in the sight in front of him. Tessa was in a headlock by an unfinished, rough looking automaton. It was holding a knife to her throat and another knife was on the floor. It must have been the metal scraping sound, Will thought, Tessa had fought back. But he didnt ha time to do anything before the creature spoke, "She is his now."
Will tried to speak calmly but his voicewas shaking, Tessa was in trouble, "Tell Mormain that he cant have her, she belongs to me, if he has a problem with it, he can talk to me, leave her out of this."
"I know not of any Mortmain but my master is through with waiting, he will have what is rightfully his,"the thing rasped as it ran the blade across Tessa's abdomen. She screamed as the blade dug in deeper. Will and Jem started to run forward, but as they aproached, the creature hissed, "if you come any closer, I will kill her." They stoppedc and stared in horror.
Tessa was sobbing now as blood ran down her dress. The automaton grabbed a vial and lt the red liquid collect until if was full. Then it capped the container, shoved Tessa forward, and was gone in a puff of smoke.

"Tessa! Tessa, please wake up!" Will almost screamed. "You are perfectly fine!"
Her eyes fluttered open and she said,"Will, where were you? I was screaming for you for 5 minutes before I had to attack it or die." Her eyes closed again.
Will didn't want to admit it, but Jem and him had gotten into a loud argument while he was up in his room and had only heard her scream because they had both stopped to catch their breath.
"Jem, I am so sorry for the pain that I have inflicted on you these past years ans especially the pain I inflicted just recently... Can you ever forgive me?" Will inquired.
"Of course, I will! But don;t you think the more pressing matter is that Tessa almost DIED not 5 minutes ago?" Jem insisted.
Will scooped up Tessa in his arms and ran to Charlotte's office, so she could stitch Tessa's abdomen up, but first she shooed the boys out, since doing that required that she remove Tessa's dress.
Will and Jem were exasperated, but did as they were told and wait anxiously outside for the, hopefully, good news.
They waited and waited.
'What is taking them so long?' he thought.

Finally, Charlotte quietly stepped out, but pushed on the boys' chest to keep them from walking into her office. "Tessa is fine," she whispered. "However, she's sleeping right now and I don't either of you going in there and waking her up!"
Charlotte turned and sauntered down the corridor, disappearing around a corner. As soon as she was out of earshot Will and Jem jumped up at the same time.They glared at one another, challenging the other to get in his way. But, Jem's conscience got the better of him and he slowly sat back down.
Will's hand was on the door to Tessa's room for only a second when Jem stopped him.
"Will?"
"What?" Will replied stiffly.
"I was just thinking . . . when the automaton said-"
"I'm sorry, James, but I was a bit too preoccupied with the knife in Tessa's stomach to pay attention to anything that monster said."
Jem winced as he thought of the bright red blood staining the front of Tessa's dress.
He cleared his throat. "I was just remembering, that it said it didn't know of Mortmain-"
"It was probably lying," Will snarled.
"What if it wasn't? What if there's someone else trying to get to Tessa?"
Will narrowed his brilliant blue eyes in thought, "why do you think there might be someone else after her?" he asked, trying to decipher Jem's worried expression. "It's just that I found this on the floor" Jem whispered giving Will a small piece of parchment.
At the head of the note was the mark of the ouroboros and under it neat writing that read:
"My dearest Theresa,
I have sent this automaton in the hope that you will finally understand how badly I need you.
I know what you are and who you descend from.
If you want this information you must come to meet me by the tower of London at midnight where I'll be waiting for you.
Come alone.
Yours forever,
...
"It's not signed" said Will scanning the short letter again. "I know" said Jem, "Who is this mysterious person? and what does he know about Tessa?"
Will put the letter in his pocket and looked at his watch.
"Don't fret James." he said in a casual voice that couldn't contain his excitement.
"Get your cane and your sharpest seraph blade. We're going out".
"Where?" Jem said hesitantly."To find out who this person is and why he wants Tessa so badly."
As they were walking to the weapons room, Tessa was waking up in Charlotte's office.
"Where am I?" she wondered. "Where's Will? What happened to that automaton?"
As each question came she began to feel a bit more frantic to get out of this unknown room.
Finally, Charlotte came back and was pleased that Tessa was awake.
"Did the boys come in and wake you?" she asked.
"No," Tessa said. "But what happened to the automaton?"
Charlotte sighed heavily. "It's gone Tessa. Everything's alright." Tessa nodded in understanding, as Charlotte walked over towards her. Tessa tried to sit up but winced, and was helped up by Charlotte. "Hon, you're going to have to take it easy for a bit. So just try to get some more sleep." Charlotte smiled at her, then they made there way towards Tessa's room.
"OK." Tessa sighed. "I can't argue with that."
(sorry i suck at editting)and drifted back into a sound sleep till the dream came she was in a building caked with dust a place where they would film scary movies then a voice spoke from behind her "did you sleep well my dear?" she swivled aroundbut could only see a shadow in the darkness "who are you?" she tried to ask but as in many dreams was rendered speechless she hated these kind of dreams she couldnt fight for herself "hope the automoton wasnt to scary for you dear" he said grabbing her attention again "but that mortmain fellow seemed to find them quite handy so i thought id give a shot you they are quite handy workers i must say" suddenly a blaze of light appeared beside the shadow blinding tessa. when she could see again she screamed and screamed at what was in front of her
It was a demon more frightening than she had ever seen. And also, instinctively, she knew it was her father.
She asked who he was any way in hope that she was wrong. " TessaI know you know who I am.

'Then who are you?' Tessa demanded, jerking her head up to look at the tall figure.He was handsome. In a strange sort of way.
He looked amused. The demon. Then, in a split second's time, he changed into a man. A human.
'Ah. Better? My darling daughter?' he laughed.
'What? How? Why?...' Tessa asked.
'Shut up. And listen to me.' the man replied, breaking Tessa off. (Her sentence, I mean.)
(Is he Valentine!! And don't break the friendship bewteen the 2 brothers. Please.)
"I'm your father; the Demon King, husband of Lilith." he said.Just then Jem and Will burst through the door and she realized that this wasn't a dream. No, her father had come to her room, kidnapped her, and taken her here.
"Tess? How did you get here before us?" Will asked incredulous. "We took out only carriage!"
"Ask him." Tessa said and slowly backed away from the being that was her father. "He's my father, Will. My FATHER!"
"What?!" Jem choked out. "The Demon King is your FATHER?! No one even knows his real name, and we just happen upon his DAUGHTER?!"
His silver hair reflect the moonlight streaming through the windows.'Back off.' Will demanded The Demon King. He drew out his seraph blade. 'Cassiel.'
It blazed up in his hand.
The Demon King started to laugh mockingly at Will. "You really think that tiny blade of yours could really hurt me?" "Depends on if I hit something vital or not. And trust me I was at the top of the class in finding vital points in demons."
"Oooh. Now I'm really scared!" The Demon King said sarcastically.
"STOP!!" Tessa's voice rang out in the building. "I will not stand idly by while you three try to kill each other! Demon King, you will not hurt my friends unless you want to lose your daughter forever."
"What can you do, my dear?" he asked sweetly.
"This." Tessa pulled out the blade that she had started to sleep with in a a special pocket she had sown into her nightgown. She held it firmly against her heart and watched her father's eyes widen.
"You would really give up your life to keep me from killing a couple of Shadowhunters? You were obviously raised terribly wrong..."
'Of course. You didn't EVEN raise me up. How can you say such a thing? They're my friends. And you're just a Demon King. Whatever. As if you're so great.' Tessa spat, losing her patience and anger.Jem was surprised. Will was amused. :)
"That right there is the Tessa we know and love, eh Jem?" Will said happily."Bah!" The Demon King spat. "I'll get you another day, my dearest Theresa."
And he was gone in a puff of smoke.
"Ah," Tessa sighed in relief. "I'm glad that didn't go terribly wrong!"
"What exactly, Tess, is your idea of 'terribly wrong'?" Jem asked.
She didn't get a chance to answer because Will had swept her up in his arms and was kissing her enthusiastically.
(What the...?? Ugh.)
(C'mon, It's not that bad :)Jem turned away, and walked back to the entrance until they were done, "Will!" Tessa Exclaimed, "Not when Jem-" she looked around, "Where is Jem?"
(I want action, i'm better writting action scenes, you should Had keep going with the Demon king stuff ;) )
They found him outside talking to a fellow Shadowhunter who had been tipped off that the Demon King had come out of his hole at last. He was visibly upset at the fact that they had gotten him to go away.Will had left Tessa inside the building, which he soon found out was a bad idea, when he heard her screaming.
When, they got into the building Tessa was gone, leaving nothing, but a note from the Demon King, saying:
Dear Shadowhunters,
Thank you ever so much for leaving Tessa alone, when she was injured and unable to fight my automaton!
The Demon King
Will dropped to his knees "How could I be so stupid!" he groaned, angrily scrunching the note and throwing it across the hall.Jem had never seen his parabatai look so furious, his blue eyes were blazing and his jaw was set in an angry scowl.
"Relax Will" said Jem, in an attempt to calm the seething boy down. Will got up and as soon as he saw Jem's patient eyes and heard his soothing voice he felt calmer.
Just as always, no matter what happened Jem always seemed to make Will's life more bearable. If Will had Jem beside him, everything was achievable, very problem could be resolved.
It was as if Jem's whole presence was the silver lining to all of his dark clouds.
"Jem it's my fault she's gone! Why do I always end up hurting the people I love?".
"We'll find a way to save her and destroy the Demon King" Jem said, gripping Will's shoulder reassurigly, "everything will be fine".
Jem lost his track of thought as he saw a brown haired girl coming towards them.
"Miss Sophie!" he said with a small bow and smiled.
"Sorry to interrupt, Sir" she said blushing at Jem's smile. "It's just that Miss Charlotte is requesting for your presence in the drawing room."
Will sighed "is this really important Sophie?"
Sophie tore her eyes unwillingly away from Jem and replied in a small voice. "I don't know Sir, Just something to do with the Demon King."
Then everyone broke out in dance. Thriller blasted out of unseen speakers. Magnus Bane was in the middle of the wild crazy dancers that had popped up out of no where. He was in a nightrobe and bunny slippers. Suddenly, then bunny slippers flew off his feet as he fell. Down and down he went. He was going to hit the ground. Hard.
