Lets start a story of our own!One word only!
Charlotte looked terrified when Tessa didn't come into her office with the boys."Will, Jem, where is Tessa?!" Charlotte looked frantic.
"The demon king took her again. " Will said venom in his voice.
Charlotte gasped, "What!" Jem nodded solemnly. "Well, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" Will asked, he didn't want to talk about this anymore, it was too upsetting.

Hmmm.
"I was going to ask you if Tessa knew who her father was, but she has obviously found out if he took her. And at the worst possible time, too." Charlotte sighed."What?! That's it?! No considering putting together a search and rescue party for her!?!" Will exploded and stormed out.
"Wait! Will! Where are you going?" Jem ran after him.
"I'm going to find Tess if it's the last thing I do!" Will was almost in tears he was so mad at himself and upset that Tessa was gone.
"Well, it will be the last thing you do if you go alone." Jem said calmly.
"What do you mean by that?" Will looked confused.
"I mean I'm coming with you, you dork!" Jem said with finality.
"I am not a dork I am a gentleman who at the present moment feels like taking a calm slow stroll through a park" Will said sarcastically to emphasise he didn't mean it "well then let us take that nice stroll now Jem said a smile playing on his lips as he came closer to Will and whispered "how does the weapons room sound and with that he dropped Wills arm and bolted down the hallway in the direction of the weapons room Will taken by surprise chased after him
Fully dressed in shadowhunter gear and equipped with all their essential weapons they stepped out into the night. "I know someone who could help us find Tessa" said Will.
"Really..Who?!" asked Jem...
[yay, this story's getting a whole lot better now without the overly lovey dovey-ness :D]
((I know right! Also, they need to get out of the institute a bit more, makes it more interesting))
"Magnus Bane." Will stated."How do you you know Magnus Bane?" Jem asked incredulously.
"He helped me out once, maybe he'll do it again."
Jem looked at Will, "I dont know," he said, " I've heard some pretty bad stuff about the guy. They say once he got mad at two werewolves and turned them into women from the waist down!""Rumors," Will scoffed. "Now lets go find him and hope we dont come back as school girls."
The walk was short they found Magnus in a pub with some fairies and werewolves "Magnus!" Will called from the door way, startled from his conversation he looked up grin grew on his lips as his eyes layed on Will "William so good to see you, you know you haven't called in a while I was thinking you forgot about me" Magnus said making a big jesture as if to hug Will but Will dodged "Magnus as I've said before I'm not interested and anyway we've got other problems" Will replied clear that he was annoyed by Magnus's actions "well said Magnus how can I help"
Will explained the problem."Well," Magnus said. "I can help with that. Lets go back to my house." he stumbled out the door, drunk, obviously.
"Magnus, are you sure your okay? Do you need some help?" Jem asked, watching him attempt to walk in a straight line. Magnus waved off the offer.
"No. I think I'll be fine." and then they followed him, back to his house.
"That was very convincing," Will whispered to Jem as Magnus ran into a wall."I heard that!" Magnus said. "Just give me a minute..." He snapped him fingers and sighed.
"Ummm. What just happened?" Jem asked as Magnus walked around like he didn't even know what alcohol was let one had been drinking it not two minutes ago.
"He's a warlock remember?" Will said sarcastically.
"Oh." Jem said, nodding. "Of course." "How long will it take us to get to your house from here?" Will asked Magnus.
"Not long." Magnus replied. He snapped his fingers and everything went dark as if someone had turned a light switch off. When their vision started to work again, Jem and Will were staring at what appeared to be Magnus's living room.

'That was fast.' Jem said, appreciatively.'Thank you, James. My powers are just awesome right? Want some?' Magnus smiled.
'Magnus. Can we get down to business?' Will said, impatiently.
'Sure. So, what's sup?'Magnus drawled, looking at Jem, then Will.
'Tessa is kidnapped by The Demon King. And we need to locate him. It's urgent.' Will said, gesturing wildly.
'Ah. Theresa Gray. I knew her father. A darling man. Quite pleasant-' Magnus smiled.
'Quit your talking. I swear. You're really getting on m nerves.' Will frowned.
'Forgive me then. What do you say, James Carstairs? Nice name, by the way.' Magnus laughed.
(Can we make Magnus Tessa's brother? Please?)"Just get on with it." Will Growled.
Magnus flinched and nodded, "Point taken, so, do you have something of his? so we can find him quicker."
Jem looked at his parabati. they had not thought of this.
(Why not? Sure. Fine with me. >w<)Will was looking thoughtful.
'Her handkerchief? She dropped it when her father took her away.' Will said.

[oh, thanks. only forgot the 'a']"Mmmhhmm," Magnus hummed, and took it from Will. he grabbed a book from one of the shelves. it was bound in a rose-pink canvas and the front cover was decorated in floral paintings. the title was written in Latin.

Magnus set the book down, open halfway and held Tessa's handkerchief in his hands. Blue sparks shot out of his fingers as he began reciting something in latin. The lights in the room suddenly flickered then went off completely, plunging them into darkness.Will heard Jem take a sharp intake of breath as Magnus's chanting became louder and a ball of light materialised in the warlock's hands.
The ball of light began projecting vivid images all around the room. Will gasped as he saw the ruins of a castle then an afraid looking Tessa, she was in some sort of large stone building that could have been the castle. The last image they saw was that of the Demon King shouting at Tessa to do something she was refusing to do.
Magnus stoppd abruptly and the magical light and all the images disappeared.
As the lights of the room flickered back on, they saw Magnus crumpled on the floor.
"I can't believe it's..him" he said in a frightened voice.
Magnus was panting like a dog but his eyes were like a wild cat angry which made no sense to Will and Jem "Magnus are ou alright?" Jem asked crouching down beside Magnus "he swore" Magnus mumbled "who swore" Jem asked genuinely confused from what Magnus had just said "He swore" Magnus was now begging to shout, he stood and yelled "he swore to mo,TO ME THAT HE WOULD TOUCH HER NO MATTER HOW MUCH HIS DREAMS TOLD HIM TO FIND HER! HE PROMISED!! Will and Jem looked eat each other suspicion circling their thoughts "Magnus" Will said but Magnus just kept shivering on the floor muttering about a broken promise "MAGNUS" Jem and Will both yelled in unison "what" said Magnus who had snapped out of his trance or whatever it was "what do you mean by you know his dreams and what did he promise about Tessa is... My... Half sister
"WHAT!!" they exclaimed again in unison."The Demon King is my father," Magnus sighed. "Now you know why I'm so powerful."
"You can still find her right?" Will asked.
"Of course I can!" Magnus was livid. "Who wouldn't be able to find their own half sister? Do you take me for a weakling who can't find his own socks in the morning?"
Will and Jem exchanged a knowing look. They got up off the floor and heaved Magnus to his feet.
"Well, then let's find ourselves our Tess." Will said brightly.
(YES! Magnus is her brother! Thank You :)"Why?" Magnus and Jem asked.
Will shrugged, "He might have something we can use..." h trailed of and Jem realised what he was asking.
"Henry's Invention!" Jem yelled. "The one that can make you go wherever you want to go! We can use that!" He exclaimed.
Magnus looked at them confused, "Is it faster than walking?" The brothers looked at each other, "Yes." they said in unison.
"Well, lets go." Magnus agreed.

They made there way back to the institute in silence. When they got there they immediatly went to look for Henry. They found him in the library. Pacing back and forth , a worried expression on his face.
"Henry?" Jem asked. He looked up, a dazed expression on his face, "Yes?"
"We need your help. How did you use that invention before. the one that transported Will to Tessas' room? Can we use it?"
Henry blushed, "Well, um. it still needs improving...It has a mind of it's own. if you don't say something correctly-it will transport you to wherever it sees fit."
"So, if i were to transport myself to that pond in the park. I'd end up at the bottom of it?" Will asked
"Exactly!" Henry exclaimed.
"Well, I will try" Will looked to Jem, "I have done it before and, as I said, I WILL find her!" with that he snatched the invention from Henry and whispered softly; "Terhesa Grey, you can not hid from ME!" And, with a flourish vanished from sight.
The invention fell to the floor as Will vanished into a black haze."Well," Said Jem, "I guess it's my turn."
_______________________Tessa was frantic, she couldn't give what The Demon King wanted; a link to Mangus- when Will appeared out of thin air. She stilled a gasp "Will, how did you...." "Tessa!" Will exclaimed, seeing The Demon King grab a sharp blade, "Watch OUT!!!!!!" Then Jem materialised out of thin air and bashed The Demon King on the head with his cane. "Hi-yah!" Rendering The Demon King unconscious....
Magnus also appeared out of nowhere a few seconds later. He looked at the scene before him and sighed. "Well, no one was hurt, I'm guessing." He said.
Will just laughed, "Only your fath-" he stopped abruptly, "The Demon king.
Tessa looked around, confused. "Magnus? What are you doing here?" She asked
Magnus just stared at Tessa, "you don't know, yet?" he asked incredulously. He stared at the two boys; "She doesn't KNOW yet????""Well, Magnus, perhaps you should tell her, then." Said Jem gently. Magnus turned to face Tessa.
"Um. Well, your my half-sister, Tessa..." She looked up at him in surprise. "What!?"
Magnus bit his lip."The Demon king is my father, too."
"oh, OHH" Tessa said. "Well, then, who is your mother?
(Uhh... Big realization huh? I hope CP2 is like that too. Sigh... :B)'You're so dumb. Tessa. If The Demon King is your father and Lilith's husband. Then, your mother is...' Will said.
Jem sighed.
Magnus just looked thoughtfully at Tessa.
'Uh... Lilith?' Tessa bit her lips.
'Seriously? I didn't know Tessa Gray was soo clever.' Will said, annoyed.
'Arathiel.' Will said, drawing out a seraph blade. 'Jem. Be prepared. Magnus. Wake him up.'
Magnus looked confused. 'Wake Jem up?He's already awake.'
'Oh my gawd! It's so coincidental that you're Tessa's half brother. NO! Wake your accursed father!!' Will said, irritated and freaking annoyed.
The Demon King woke up. He stared at Will.
'Leave me alone.' he said, gruffly.
'No, you're not. Until I kill you, you're not GOING anywhere.' Will said, his face a dark mask.
[AHH!! So sorry. I wrote too much. Yikes.:/]
"you can't tell me what to do little hunter person" he said his words slurring as if he were drunk "I'm more powerful than any of you at my weakest moment" he continued the snapped his fingers and ropes appeared wrapping around their ankles and tied their hands around separate pillars so they couldn't move "NO" Will yelled squirming and trying to get free from his bonds like the others were doing "Stupid mortals think you could defeat me, ME the demon KING" he stormed pacing in front of Tessa "you know what I think that ms. Tessa's time has run out now you all can watch and know none of this would of happened if you hadn't annoyed me like this!" he screamed and flung his hand towards Tessa with sparks flying out then Tessa let out a blood curdling scream her body rithed on the chair from the pain he was sending at her.
"NO!!" Magnus yelled.The Demon King stopped in surprise at the malice in his son's voice. "What was that, Magnus?" he drawled.
Tessa gave a sigh of relief, since there no more pain. She quickly Changed into someone that was a lot smaller than she was and slipped out of her bonds. She rushed over to Will and Jem, took one of their blades, and cut the ropes off that were around their ankles.
Will gave her a hug, as did Jem, and when they looked over at Magnus he just mouthed, "Leave."
Will grabbed one of Tessa's hands and Jem grabbed the other and they half dragged, half carried her out of the building.
They got back to the Institute quickly and let Tessa go up to her room, but first they went to Henry to get a guard invention of his so she would be safe.
Finally safe and back in her normal body, Tessa perched at the edge of her bed and tried to make sense of all the shocking revelations of the day. She was the daughter of the Demon King and the sister of the highly dangerous and amazingly eccentric warlock Magnus Bane. A soft knock sounded on the door and a worried looking Charlotte came inside.
"Tessa, I'm so glad you're safe, are you alright?"
"I feel safer now that I'm back at the Institute, it's just Magnus I'm worried about now." said Tessa feeling guilty all of a sudden for leaving her brother behind.
"We left him with the Demon King...our father." Tessa explained with a slight shudder, admitting that he was her father made her feel sick.
"Magnus will be fine, he's very strong, as are you" said Charlotte kindly, as she went to embrace Tessa who quickly backed away.
"I'm afraid he won't give up, he told me that my connection with him makes me innately evil" whispered Tessa bitterly, avoiding Charlotte's gaze.
"He said I wasn't safe around normal people, that I was dangerous"
"you are no danger to anyone" Charlotte scolded "you are kind and I haven't seen you hurt a fly that didn't deserve it, so don't worry about anything that fool said okay" "okay" Tessa muttered not thinking it was true and worrying about what could happen
_________________________________________Meanwhile Will and Jem Were in the middle of a heated conversation
(Ahhh, i really can't figure out anything to say.....)
"We have to go back" Will said dryly."And what? Get bound by ropes again?" Jem countered.
Jem had decided that going back to where they had left Magnus and the Demon King was a terrible idea but the other boy obviously thought otherwise.
"He's just gonna come back for Tessa again if we don't get rid of him now" Will insisted.
"Magnus can handle him" Jem said, not without confidence.
It was true that Magnus could shoot sparks like the fourth of July, Will thought. But it was their fault that he had to face his father in the first place. Plus, he really cared for Tessa's safety...
(I really don't want the story to go back to Jem and Will arguing over who Tessa loved and all that so there. :D)
(I totes agree. Don't make Will like that. He's not. Actually.)
(I know what you mean. It's better when there's equal amounts of romance and action, otherwise the story gets a little repetitive)Will sighed. "Listen Jem, I don't know if you noticed but we are Shadowhunters. Our life's purpose is to kill demons. Tessa's father is a demon who is clearly posing a threat to our friend so...?" Will trailed of and Jem finished his sentence for him.
"We must destroy him" Jem said wearily.
"Exactly" smiled Will.
"There's just one problem," Jem explained, "How do we do that exactly?""Good question," Will said thinking hard.
Tessa had fallen asleep and was inveloped in a dream it started with Jem and Will whispering in front of the door. She couldn't make out what they were saying so her dreamlike self moved closer till she could hear their conversation "are you sure you want to do this?" Jem asked looking at Will with worry "you do remember that they were the ones who held Tessa captive and you also killed her sister." "I know that!" Will snapped "but she's the only one who might know a way to defeat the demon king" Tessa stopped listening after that she knew who they were talking about and it wasn't a good. She woke up breathing hard, her shirt was sticking to her with sweat. She jumped out of bed and raced out her door and down the hallway looking for her friends who she had no real hope in finding in the institute.
