Lets start a story of our own!One word only!
"They tried out one of Henry's Inventions." Jem explained.Charlotte frowned, "Let me help." She grabbed a fighting Henry and tried to drag him to another room.
(Is Charlotte Pregnant?)
(sure, why not?)Unfortunatly she wasn't as strong because of her bulging belly. So Henry just stayed where he was. "We'll get him later," Tessa sighed.
They managed to get Will back to his room and left him there muttering something about pink unicorns and a conspirioucy.
((love that will got drunk))
((Sorry I kinda changed it, but I thought that they should caring for Will if he's that drunk...))They tried to get Will to lie down, but he kept popping up again saying he needed to go kill the floating vampire squirrel and the pink unicorns' leader before they got to him. Jem was kind of hovering while Tessa worked on holding him down.
"Jem," she huffed. "Can you go help Charlotte with Henry? I can attend to Will."
"Are you sure?" Jem was moving towards the door because he knew that soon Will was going to get violent and Tessa looked like she could handle that better than he could. Mostly because he never hit Will and sometimes that was the only way to get him to stop.
"Yes, I'm sure! Charlotte needs your help more than I do!" she had managed to get him to stay seated and was now working on getting him to lie down.
"OK." Jem said before he walked quietly out the door.
"Oh, Will." Tessa sighed. "Why do you do things like this?"
She kept working on getting him to stay laying down and had to deck him once because he kept trying to hit her. Eventually, he did what she wanted and she was about to walk out the door when her knees gave out from exhaustion and she fell asleep with her head resting on Will's bed.
She woke to someone shaking her gently and whispering her name.
She started, opening her eyes. "Wh-where am I?"
"You fell asleep in my room, Tess." Will sounded more than a little amused.
"Oh, yes. Now I remember. You were drunk and I was trying to get you to stay here instead of running after floating vampire squirrels and pink unicorns, both of which you were certain were trying to kill you."
"Was I really saying things like that?" he sounded mortified.
"Yes and I really must be going now." Tessa got up, but her legs were weak because of the way she had slept. She swayed a little before falling to her knees again.
"Tessa!" Will exclaimed. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine. My legs are a little weak that's all." she tried getting up again, but the same thing happened.
Will leaped to his his feet and helped Tessa to her's. Then he helped to her own room by putting her arm across his neck and letting her lean heavily on him. He really got a good look at her then and saw the bags under her eyes.
"Tess, how long were you tending to me?"
"Oh, I don't know. Until 2:30 maybe 3:30." she said like it didn't matter.
"Tessa! Why would you do that?"
"You needed someone to care for you and Jem was helping Charlotte with Henry so I stayed with you until you would stay laying down."
"Well you didn't have to do that." Will said, looking at Tessa in awe."I wanted to," Tessa replied, her face flushing. "I-." Before Tessa could finish her sentence Jem came into the hallway and interrupted her. "Tessa! Are you okay? I went to your room after I helped Charlotte with Henry and you weren't there."
"Yeah, I'm fine." Tessa said. "I just fell asleep in Will room." Jem looked like he was about to say something but thought better of it. "Well I'm glad your alright." Tessa opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. "Tess," She heard Will say. "Tessa, are you okay? You look green." Tessa's vision started blurring. And she could feel herself swaying on her feet. Will tightened his grip on her and put one hand on her stomach and one on her back, trying to help her get her balance back. "Tessa?" Jem asked. The voices sounded distant. And before Tessa knew what was happening, the ground rushed to meet her.
(Could we make Tessa sick? Not like the flu or anything. But like, an unknown illness?)
Tessa opened her eyes and the first person she sees is Will. "what happened"asked Tessa. "you were sick''said Will.after a moment he asked "what was it you wanted to tell me before". "I don't remember"said Tessa. "where is jem"she asked worried.

((I don't know it's a little odd to me too...))"Jem went to go get Magnus to heal you." Will still looked concerned.
Just then Henry stumbled in looking guilty. "Tessa, did you fall asleep in Will's room after he drank my invention?"
"Yes, I did. I was there trying to get him not to kill Church because he was "a floating vampire squirrel" and the "leader of the pink unicorns" who he was certain was conspiring to kill him..." Tessa looked at Will who was looking even more mortified than when she told him this earlier.
"Jem is in his room," Will answered. "He needed to sleep." "And you don't..?"
"I couldn't sleep until I knew you were okay." Tessa blinked, taken aback by Wills statement. A moment later another voice spoke. "I told you she would be fine," Charlotte came into view. "Now go, you need to rest." Will gave Tessa one final look, then walked out the door.
Right after the door closed, Charlottes face went from tired to worry. "Charlotte?" Tessa asked. "Whats wrong?" Charlotte closed the space between them and cupped Tessa's face in her hands. "How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Better then before. But I still feeling funny... Why?" Tessa looked Charlotte in the eyes and asked her again, in a more serious tone. "Why Charlotte?"
Charlotte dropped her hands and pulled out her cell phone. "I need to call Magnus."
(Please, could we make Tessa sick? Or something?)

Just then Henry stumbled in looking guilty. "Tessa, did you fall asleep in W..."
DAMN! I WAS TYPING WHEN YOU WROTE THAT! POO! Oh well..Haha.. They both basically have the same thing. (To get Magnus to heal Tessa.)
((Umm a cell phone, really? They are 100 years in THE PAST!!!))Just then Jem walked in with Magnus behind him. They both rushed up to Tessa.
"All right, I need to know what happened before I can start healing anything." Magnus said with an air of authority.
"Well, you see, I invented a drink that makes you feel really good when you drink it, but if someone is in the room when the person that had drunk it falls asleep weird things start happening. Like fainting, a feeling of abandonment, and weak legs." Henry replied morosely.
Magnus frowned at him, "And you didn't warn anyone, while you were testing it out?" He asked.Henry looked more than a little embarrassed, "I was testing it out on myself, first.... Obviously needs improving."
"You think?" Magnus muttered.
With stark intensity, it was then that Tessa realized that it had always been Will. He had always been the first person she saw, at least in her heart. It was so strange that this had only occurred to her now. Sure, she had always cared for Will, but his behavior... it always seemed to quell her feelings. But now as she looked into Will's deep dark navy blue eyes, she couldn't see how it was possible not to love Will. And it seemed as though he cared for her too. His eyes proved that. "Tessa?" He asked, cradling her head as she struggled to sit up."Jem, is around, waiting for you to recover. I just thought I'd check up on you. But, I didn't expect to find you awake."
"Will?" Her voice was soft when she spoke, so soft it nearly startled her. "I don't want to hurt Jem." She said, and it was true. She didn't, but her feelings for Will were becoming too strong to deny.
He looked at her confused for a moment, but only for a moment "Do you truly care for me Tessa?" Will asked finally seeming to understand. She didn't have to reply, he could see it in the way she held his gaze.
"Then you need to be with Jem. He's my best friend, I only want his happiness." His words startled her.
"Even at the cost of your own?" And my own, she wanted to add silently but she kept that last part to her self.
"Tessa... I" Will began but the conflict in him was clear. He loved her...more than anything... but betraying Jem. But he wouldn't have to make the decision because Jem strode into the room on an uneven gait, only too se Tessa's head cradle in Will's lap, their faces only centimeters apart, love in their eyes.
(Clara: OH RIGHT!! Sorry. Hahahaha!)"Wha..?" Jem said.
Tessa suddenly screamed. She felt like her heart was on fire. She started clawing at her chest, trying to rip her heart out to be free of the pain. Blood flowed from her claw marks. Jem ran to Will and Tessa. Then both Jem and Will held back her arms from doing any more damaged. Tessa kept on screaming. The burning intensified.
(Um, okay where did all of this come from?)She kept screaming when Magnus came up to her and with a click of his fingers, the pain went away. he had put her asleep for the time being.
(Alexia: I was writing it when Sagine posted the other one. And I just edited it so it would make more sense. Haha.)
Magnus looked over at a sleeping Tess who was thrashing about and looked very concerned. "I think you might want to add hallucinating to your list of side effects."Will came in and looked at Tess, who was still thrashing. "Magnus!" he cried. "Do something before she hurts herself!"
"Will. Jem. Hold her down while I get this ready." Magnus barked, holding up a vial of blue liquid.
They rushed to either side of her and each held an arm while Magnus sparked on the other side of the room.
"Aha!" he exclaimed. "It's done!" he rushed over to Tess, forced open her mouth and poured the liquid in. She quieted almost instantly.
Tessa let out a loud cough as the liquid slimed its way down her throat. She clutched the angel around her neck like it was god-sentShe looked squarely at Magnus, one hand clutching the angel, the other, loosely holding Will's hand too. Jem noticed that and narrowed his eyes, but Tessa was to occupied to really notice.
"Magnus! Whats wrong with me?
(Okay. I hate when that happens. Awww, it just happened again!)She looked around at the people standing above her. Magnus, Will and Jem.
"What happened?" Tessa asked worried.
"You've got the Shiver." Magnus said bluntly, looking at Tessa with wary eyes."What?" Her hand around Will's tightened, she wasn't concerned about upsetting Jem anymore but about figuring out what was wrong with her.
Magnus's eys pointed to Will and Jem. "You shouldn't touch her. It could be contagious."
Slowly the boys peeled away from her. Tessa looked up frightened. She couldn't be away from Will, not after just realixing her feelings for him.
"Sorry, Tess." Will said, hanging his head down low.
Jem tried his best to ignore the two. "Whats the Shiver? He asked Magnus.
"Well, it's hard to explain. but you've seen the symptoms, it's worse on shadowhunters. So i'd stay away.""How long does it last?" Jem asked, concerned.
"A few of days. she's in for a rough week." Magnus replied, walking off. "If you need me, just call." he shut the door behind him. Will hesitated, "Well, i'd better go." He said, Tessa looked panicked, "You need to rest." He said, seeing her face. and he walked out, too.
Tessa waited for Jem to leave next. He didn't.
"Jem, why arn't you leaving?" Tessa asked.
Jem smiled, "In sickness and in health, Remember?"
"I know Jem" said Tessa wearily, "But I don't want you to risk your health by exposing yourself to me."Jem shook his head, "I'll look after you!" he protested.
Tessa felt a wave of pain going through her again as the effect of the liquid Magnus gave her began to wear off.
"Please Jem" she whispered, "Leave. If you stay then we will only be together in sickness and not in health. If it is worse for Shadowhunters then I dread to think what could happen!"
"If that is what you want then I'll leave" said Jem softly.
He was sad to leave her but he didn't want to make her worry for his health as well as her own.
As the door closed behind him Tessa closed her eyes and wished she could just fall asleep in order to make the time pass quicker.
(WOAH WAIT.. Im so confused... I thought Tessa and Will loved eachother.. But now with the "Sickness and in health" part.. Woah.. When did Tessa and Jem get married in this story?! 'Cause I don't recall them getting married... AND I thought she got the illness from Will.. Because of Henrys invention... SO wouldn't that make it like an.. Invention illness? or something? Im confused..)Tessa kept taken deep breaths. In and out, in and out. Trying to fall asleep. But eventually, she gave up and stared at the ceiling. A couple hours passed when someone came into the room. She looked over at the door but saw no one. Before she could react she felt something smash into the side of her head, knocking her out.
Mortmain stared down at the unconscious Tessa, holding a rock in his hand. "Thats for knocking me out, bitch." He spat at her. He picked her up, and walked towards the open window. Then Mortmain threw Tessa onto his shoulder and jumped out the window.
((does Tessa seriously need to get kidnaped every 5 seconds....really??? and the whole jem in sickness and in health thing wtf? theyre not married and she loves will, we astabolished that already so let it go jem fans))Tessa woke up and screamed,"get away from me, leave me alone!"
will rushed into her room. tessa was laying in her bed screaming and thrashing, eyes open but pupil-less. She must be hallucinating again. what would he do?
((k so after tessa is better can we focus the story more on another character....like magnus? just a thought......))

((Thanks for clarifying their relationship status Meagin, I was slightly confused about whether she liked him more than a friend))Will tried to calm Tessa down but her screams just got louder. Soon the whole institute was awake with the sounds of her agonizing screaming.
"We need to get Magnus" thought Will as he rushed to find the warlock.
Will ran down street after street to Magnus's apartment to find it was empty "MAGNUS WHERE ARE YOU!!" Will yelled dropping to his knees panting from his sprint and from his panic about what could happen to Tessa.
When he found him, Magnus was drunk. Again. Will groaned. He really didn't want to have to deal with that. Tessa was sick though... He sighed and walked up to Magnus.
Magnus saw him coming an quickly snapped his fingers so that he would't appear drunk anymore. "Will, what can I do for you?"
"It's Tessa. She's hallucinating again and I don't know what to do!" Will looked at Magnus imploringly. "Will come help her again? Please?"
"Well, alright, but the serum I made should've helped longer than this..." he looked slightly confused. "But no matter. Let us go to her!"
They quickly arrived at the institute and rushed to Tessa. Will yelled at Magnus to do something before she hurt herself. Magnus's eyes narrowed, he calmly replied, "she isn't hallucinating". It took a moment for the information to resenate and his eyes flashed. He reacted. He pulled out a blade and started slashing above Tessa. He felt the blade connect and something scream.
((Sorry everyone! There is another post exactly the same as this one and it starts at the end of clockwork prince! And thats where the whole 'in sickness and in health' thing came from! Sorry!))The scream seemed oddly familiar, but they couldn't put a finger on it.
"How is this happening! Did someone find one of Henry's inventions?" Will asked.
(There are two books in the infernal devices-but you all knew that-and there is a simalar post on the Clockwork Prince page. and i got them mixed up.)
"No." Magnus said grimly. "It's something much worse." Will looked confused again, but he just went along with it because he trusted Magnus enough not to ask. He just handed Magnus another blade, stood back, and let him do his thing.
Magnus walked closer to the invisible figure...
While Will backed further away and hit the wall with his back.
This alerted Mortmain to Magnus's presence. He had been cowering on the floor and was now grabbing a weapon from Tessa's bedside table.
Will saw the disturbance and decided to act. He felt around in his jacket and grabbed one of the seraph blades in there. He then threw it towards the side of Tessa's bedside table. It hit something and they heard a super loud ""Yelp!"
"I've heard that before." Jem Commented"Yeah," Will agreed, "And i know exactly who it is."
As they walked closer Mortmain tried to leave, but was too injured to move.
He just groaned in pain, defenceless.(Wasn't Jem meant to be watching Mortmain? Or is this a different discussion?)
(I think Jem was with Charlotte helping her look after Henry..no one really explained where Mortmain went :S)Mortmain backed away from the shadowhunters that advanced towards him. He did the only thing he could think of and took out a remote from his pocket and pressed the only button it had. This would activate his clockwork army, if he was going to die they would finish his work for him.
(Ugh! So confusing!)'Don't you dare.' Tessa said weakly.
She scrambled out of her bed. She was still wearing her night shirt but now, there was no time for her to feel self-conscious. Just NO TIME!
With a burst of her last energy (she was already weakened by her illness), she snatched the remote control and fumbled for the reset button.
'You're not going to win. Never.' Tessa said furiously, throwing the remote control away.
'Tessa. Stop it. Right now.' Jem's exasperated voice cried. Almost pleading.
'Gabriel.' Will snarled. His seraph blade lit up and pinned Mortmain onto the wall. He ran and curled his fingers around Mortmain's neck.
'You heard the girl.' Will breathed, tightening his grip on Mortmain's neck.
Mortmain would have laughed if Will hadn't been crushing his windpipe. He leered at Tessa and gave her a malicious grin, clearly indicating that he knew he had already won. What happened next took place so fast Tessa could hardly register it.Will felt the sharp tip of a blade slice across the length of his arm and blood streamed from the wound. He yelped in more surprise than pain, dropping the seraph blade in the process. The light of Gabriel retracted at once. Will took a step back before feeling a small object whiz past him. His eyes widened as he turned to his parabatai.
The object flew towards Jem. Jem leaped out of its path but was a little too slow. The tiny dagger embedded itself in his left shoulder. Jem winced at the stab of pain his shoulder felt and lunged for Mortmain.
He never got to Mortmain as, all of a sudden, a rush of clockwork creatures, each no bigger than the size of a book, swarmed in through the window.
The clockwork army had two pairs of mechanical wings each that clicked and hummed as they flapped and kept the creatures airborne. They had clawed feet, several rows of razor sharp teeth and had a body structure resembling that of a bat. They moved faster than any other clockwork creature the Shadowhunters had ever dealt with. Together, they attacked with equal amounts of precision and ferocity.
(THIS IS CONFUSING)then jem,will,and tessa woke up.JEM and WILL were injured though.WILL got hurt on his arm. JEM got hurt on his left shoulder.and tessa was screaming. they knew it wasnt a dream,then they knew what happen.Mortmain and his army knocked them out.
(NONONO!!! Why make it a dream!? Strongly disagree! So, after Belle.)Will was terribly hurt. He swore.
'Sanvi. Jerahmeel.' he yelled, gripping the two seraph blades tightly in both his hands.
Jem was doing the same too. He was sawing and fighting the clockwork creatures with his cane.
'Holo! Behold the mighty Mortmain!' Mortmain was shrieking happily.
With Mortmain's terrible scream and the clanking of metal against metal, it was a mayhem.
The door was suddenly flung open. Jessie was standing there, looking from surprised to furious.
'MORTMAIN! How the bloody hell did you do this for!?' Jessie screamed, fighting her way towards Mortmain.
'Oh. Jessie. My terribly pretty Jessie.' Mortmain crooned.
Jessie took Mortmain's ear and dragged hhim out of the room. Leaving Will and Jem fighting the monsters. Tessa was leaning against the wall, exhausted.

"Let me go to my friend!" he pleaded. "Henry! did you see the floating squirrels that turned into a vampire!" Will exclaimed with a state of alarm.
"The blasted thing bit me!" he said brandishing his hand in the air.
Henry stumbled forward to take a better look at Will's hand.
"No flying squirrels or vampires" he said sadly shaking his head as he leaned forward to whisper in Will's ear "But I'm currently being pursued by a small, rather cunning nymph woman."
And then he gave a high pitched scream and pointed in the opposite side of the hallway "IT'S HERE!! SAVE ME WILL" he cried desperately.
A flustered looking Charlotte glared at him disapprovingly.
