Who do you want as Day and June for Legend the movie?

Somehow I imagined Charlie Hunnam as Day, but I think Nick Roux can make perfect Day! And Naomi Scott can be June, Zoey Deutch too!

Ok so I was reading the suggestions and this one's going to sound a little out of place but... Since Vanessa Hudgens is too old maybe her little sister Stella could be June. She's apparently an "aspiring" actress so I don't know if she's good, but she's young (18 I guess) and definitely has the right look... Not exactly what I pictured but I read that June is supposed to be a mixture of hispanic, native american and caucasian? I think she could do it.I also think Nicola Peltz would be a great choice.

@Anna I love your input for Seychelle as June! She is perfect and definitely looks the part.
Honestly, I think Shailene Woodley would be good for June, if she wasn't already in so many books-turned-movies.
Day is difficult to cast. The easy answer is to cast a white guy and put latex (or whatever hey use nowadays) on his upper eyelids to make him look Asian. However, it would be better to find an Asian actor and give him blue contact lenses and a blonde wig. If you're playing a minority character, it's better if you belong to that group, so you can draw on your own experience.
About what Leah said, Shailene could do it, but CBS Films better move quickly, because June's fifteen, and Shailene won't be able to pass for 15 much longer.

he IS 1/2 white, is blond and has blue eyes.
The one actor I know has some mongolian blod and it's white is Val Kilmer but he's a little old to play day lol

Ryan Potter is a great choice for Day. He's mixed Asian, decent actor with martial arts background and looks pretty awesome with blonde hair and blue eyes. I would fancast Seychelle Gabriel, Lindsey Morgan or Devery Jacobs as June since she is partially Native American.
And the actress for Kaede should be East Asian since she is Japanese. Arden Cho would be my pick.
Legend characters get whitewashed SO OFTEN. Just because Day is blonde and blue eyed doesn't mean he is white.

I think Alexander Ludwig would make a good choice for Day. Only problem is he isn't Asian-looking....Totally Arden Cho for Kaede! And I agree with @Anna, Seychelle Gabriel for June.
How tall is June in the book? I just reread it couple of days ago but all I can see is that Day is 5'8.

There's no director yet and the film hasn't even been greenlit. Casting only happens after the film has been greenlit and the director and casting director has been hired.

I think the blonde and blue eyes suits him. He would make a pretty good Day. Plus, he has stunt experience and is a pretty decent actor.
I reckon Mila Kunis for June and... GAHHHH DAY IS SO HARD TO PICK FOR! The young Alex Pettyfer would've been perfect. But he's old now.

Ummmm Mila Kunis is pretty old for June too...she's 31 years old. And Day is NOT white. He's half Mongolian so even a young Alex Pettyfer wouldn't have been a good fit for Day.

Well, recently came across two actresses who I think can potentially be June, Malese Jow and Kelsey Chow, both have the tough look I would imagine on June and they do have the exotic look and mixed ethnicity which I think is rather close to what I think June as too. Oh, and they are both still in their early twenties, it would be convincing for them to portray a teenage role.

I like the idea of Booboo Stewart playing Day. I don't really know who I want to play June but, I kinda got stuck on Naomi Scott playing her.
^^My dream cast. I'm not sure about Kaede but that actress is similar to what Marie Lu pictured.^^
