Who do you want as Day and June for Legend the movie?

So we all know that the rights to Legend have been sold to CBS Films and has been optioned with 50/50 directer, Jonathan Levine and the producers of Twilight producing it. The script, which is currently being written by Andrew Barrer and Gabe Ferrari since last year, according to Marie Lu. So we will most likely see Legend on the big screen early or late 2013. So the big question is, who do you want for Day and June. I, in my opinion, think they should get unkown actors. According to an interview with Marie Lu, Day is half white/mangolian and June is Native American, Latina, and white. Who do you think should play the epic hero and heroine?

I don't know why, honestly, but I always pictured Day as Peeta, and June as Katniss. :dd
Jeremy Irvine is a possibility for Day. Um.......June is hard! Maybe Lily Collins? I think Jordan Brown (an actress on CBBC channel show Dani's Castle) would be good as Tess.
I'm honestly not sure, but guys, it's important to remember not to whitewash Day. I've seen it happen so many times. He is NOT white.

I honestly have no clue... I just hope that whoever the directors cast is as close to the characters appearance and personality as possible.

Remember guys, Day and June are both only 15. they shouldn't look like 21. For June I think either Nicola Peltz or Lily Collins. For Day i really don't know, as i always accidentally pictured him as Edward Elric.
When you say Edward Elric, do you mean the protagonist from Fullmetal Alchemist?
Lily Collins is already doing the film version of the Mortal Instruments. Probably wouldn't have time to film both. She would be good for the part though. I have to disagree on Nicola Peltz.

read this book a while back, but that kid from GI Joe, Leo Howard for Day, I think he's also on the Disney Channel - that might deter people right away, but just an observation.
Hmmm I wouldn't mind a known actor playing the characters. I mean look at The Hunger games. I know all of the cast and they did and amazing job in portraying the character. But I also wouldn't mind new, up-and-coming actors to play the roles of Day and June. To tell you the truth. I just want someone who can do a good job in adapting into the characters skin and displaying their key personalities. If they can do that I don't care if they are new actors or up-and-coming. Just as long as they know who they are playing and how to play them.Oh and appearance wise.... I am not too fuss about it, but their key features should be considered when deciding the actors.

I like Nicola Peltz for June but I'm not sure about Day. I just hope he dosen't look to old and has blonde hair.

Though I do see your point about him being a disney star but who knows maybe he'd do good. For June I guess because she's a mix of Native American, Hispanic and Caucasian I picked a young Michelle Rodriguez or some one unknown who can do her justice.

No Lily Collins is already Clary in the City of Bones and will be till they make the last one. I feel like thatd be too much of her in two movies that are kind of similar.

I think Emily Browning would play a wonderful June, but I'm really not sure about Day.(Although she is a bit old I think, but she has a young face)

Day is Mongol/Russian, while June is a big mix of Native American, Hispanic, and Caucasian. So she has a bit of an exotic look about her too.
