Janet Eckford | 18 comments I finally have another Paranormal to share!

Fire & Ice by Janet Eckford

This story has been a total labor of love because it's taken quite awhile to finish. Not exactly a novel but comfortably a novella, it is a bit of a "who done it" mystery, love story, with an unexpected twist. All set with Paranormal beings that have blended with us regular humans. The heroine is of African decent and the hero is of German decent.

It's available at: http://beautifultroublepublishing.com...

Can't wait to hear what people think!

Janet

Seressia Glass | 4 comments Hello, everyone!

My name is Seressia Glass, and I write romance, paranormal romance and urban fantasy. I've just started a sexy paranormal romance novella series called Sons of Anubis that features jackal shapeshifters. The first two, Seducing the Jackal by Seressia Glass and Hunting the Jackal by Seressia Glass are both available in electronic format. The third one, Claiming the Jackal will be out in November.

I love Egyptian mythology so my current releases feature a lot of that. If urban fantasy is more your thing, I have my Shadowchasers series. The first book is Shadow Blade (Shadowchasers, #1) by Seressia Glass and then comes Shadow Chase (Shadowchasers, #2) by Seressia Glass and Shadow Fall (Shadowchasers, #3) by Seressia Glass . I'm currently writing the fourth one, Shadow Hunt, and hope to put it out myself sometime next year. I also have a novella featuring a Maori hero and black heroine that's in the anthology called Carnivale Diabolique Carnivale Diabolique by J.M. Jeffries and features my take on the Georgia Guidestones.

I've been a lurker, getting good recs from all y'all. Nice to "meet" everyone!

I don't know how I missed Carnivale Diabolique. Have to go get that now:)

Ben Aaronovitch | 4 comments Deva wrote: "Ben and Billy! What's the pairing and are your books erotic?

Welcome!"

Well I get a thrill every time I see one on the shelf and while there's a certain amount of how's your father in
Moon Over Soho I wouldn't go as far as to say erotic.

Definately going to get me a copy of Shadowblade though.

My books are the Peter Grant series, has a mixed race protagonist and is set in what I consider to be a realistically diverse London (how you can possibly whitewash London is a continuing mystery to me).

Starts with Rivers of London (also known as Midnight Riot in North America) and available as Espíritos do Tâmisa in Brazil and Ríos de Londres in the rest of the South.

The second and third books are Moon Over Soho and Whispers Under Ground - available from all good bookstores now.

The fourth book Broken Homes is being released in the UK on the 25th of July and in the US on the 14th Feb 2014.

That was a much longer post then I intended.

PS: how do you get the nice pictures of the covers to imbed in the post - all I get is hyperlinks.

Hi Deva! The Sons of Anubis books are definitely erotic romance, but not blunt. I think you can read Seducing the Jackal with no problems. The others have intimacies in them.

I also forgot about Dream of Shadows by Seressia Glass . I'd really like to write more about the Legere family, especially the parent's story. One day!

Rashid Darden (rashiddarden) | 9 comments Hi everybody! Just a random note.... I am using the Goodreads app on my phone and the book covers in your posts do not show up like they do on the web. It's not a huge problem, but you should know that if you don't also include the title, the handful of mobile users won't know what you're sharing.

Yes it's a paranormal romance. I hope you enjoy the book! African American characters are very much absent in this genre and I hope that I can fill that void. :-)

I wanted to stop by to let every know about my newest release - Loving Among the Dead. It's about two survivors of a zombie apocalypse who find love. It is published with Loose Id, so it is erotic and because of the nature of the subject, it is also violent.

I hope you'll take a look!

I just added your book to my endless To Be Read stack, lol. But what's with the cover? I know as an author you have little input, but I have to say I really hate whitewashed/oblique covers, especially when the lead characters are of color.

Don Perry (goodreadscomDon2Perry) | 4 comments Hi Deva,

Both books are pretty erotically charged. My pairings are always Light with Dark...sometimes Dark female w/ Light male; other times reversed; sometimes mixed race w/ Light or Dark opposites. I also like to pair Americans w/ Non-Americans...so I tend to go for Middle Eastern, Latino and African. My women are always strong, take charge and dominant forces in their own right, every bit the equal of my male characters. There is always some erotically tinged power struggle between them, with women usually coming out on top in some way.

Hope that helps! Enjoy the ride!

Monique (mfh2161) | 54 comments I've been writing on and off for years - I love writing! Whether I'm a good one is another matter. In any case, I'm completing my first novel, and I'm happy with it so far.
It's paranormal, interracial, spans almost 300 years, and is in four parts (four stories that make up a whole). I'll post more when I know exactly what I'm doing, and when I get it out to the public (I'm thinking of using Amazon's createspace to get it out there).
In any case, I really enjoy writing! :)

J.I.Hens (jihens) | 1 comments Hello everybody! My name is Jennyfer Grail I am a new author and I'm currently in the process of writing my very first book called Tro'n. The main character is a black female who finds out that she is part of a prophecy that was foretold "many times ago" on planet Tro'n. It has aliens, romance, villains, Scifi abilities and of course steamy sex scenes *wink wink* :D
It is part of a three book series and book one will be released around late summer this year.

I'm very excited to be a part of this group. I am a HUGE fan of the Scifi Paranormal romance genre and I look forward to reading a lot of your books.

Many Thanks :D
