Hi Ruth Ann/ Did you still want to do a buddy read of [bookcover:Deadly Gift|3856277]? When did you want to start? I can start a topic for it in the Dare You to Read folder if you'd like. Let me know.

Anybody feel free to join us!

Hope you find something you like...
From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - Can't stop at one and because they are fruit you don't have to! - Dream Lake
Nut Clusters -Call Me Irresistible - this was my first SEP and I cannot really call this a funny book, I definitely LOLed more than a few times and really enjoyed myself, hope that counts.
Truffles -The Immortal Highlander- definitely yummy!
Hot Cocoa - Lola and the Boy Next Door- I saw this one in your TBR, could be a good choice for snuggling up but you can also start with Anna and the French Kiss - the first one in the series
From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - The Diary - I am not really a sweet romance type, you can also go for a SEP book, or a JAne Austen, one of my fav is Pride and Prejudice
Chocolate Fondue - Pleasure Unbound- just finished this one and if it is the heat you are looking for, this really has it.
Dark Chocolate - I can suggest Julie James books, Something About You or the next book in the series
Chocolate Covered Ants - Try it, you might like it - I think I have already done this but still here is something I loved, Fifty Shades of Grey
Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR - The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
From Your TBR -Fools Rush In

Dee picks for Polina
Elke picks for Megan
~KarenH~ picks for Mandy
Fran picks for Carolyn
Megan, you may end up with two sets of picks - Carolyn said she would post yours today, but since they aren't up yet I have asked someone else to make some as well. If you do, then you still only need to read one book to complete the challenge and you can pick from either list! =)

I'm in no big rush. We could hold off and see if it fits next week's shelf or we can read it this week. Let me know what you would prefer.

Thanks Carolyn! Megan just gets two sets to pick from - that is a luxury that we don't all get! =)

I'm working on your picks now, and barring interruptions, should have them up within an hour. :)

Only if you want to! Thanks for volunteering, I appreciate it!

Hooray! Thanks, KarenH! I've been trying so very hard to pretend to be a patient adult. Good to know I won't have to pretend for very much longer. :-)

LOL!! I love that - "trying so very hard to pretend..." Just awesome! (And so me!)

Thanks Elke!

Your tbr is a little daunting (over 3000!)but luckily we had a bunch of titles in common. I hope you find something here you like :)
From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins -
Lover Eternal
Hungry for You
The Husband Hunt
Nut Clusters - Select a book that looks funny.

Dark Chocolate -

Heart-Shaped Box- you seem to love Stephen King, how about trying his son?
Chocolate Covered Ants -
Untouched- new author- I love all things Anna Campbell!
And One Last Thing ...- new author
Seven Exes Are Eight Too Many- new author
Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR -
Head Games
From Your TBR -
Shadows- reading this with Melissa, love you to join us :)
Sophie & Carter- reading this with Vi for another challenge this month, love you to join us :)

From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - Here are the next books (I think) in a couple of series that you really seem to enjoy: No Mercy or All Through the Night: A Troubleshooter Christmas If I missed a book somewhere, feel free to read the next book in the series rather than the one I suggested! :)
Nut Clusters - Married With Zombies or The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse I don't know how funny these actually are, but just the titles had me chuckling.
Truffles - The Darkest Hour has a hot cover, and I love the series (I want a Kelly brother for my very own!) or The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie This one just caught my attention because I read it last month and it was something different that I really enjoyed.
Hot Cocoa - Dragon Bound or Desire Unchained Both of these were books that I really enjoyed and could have easily spent an afternoon or evening lost in them.
From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - One of my all-time favorite go-to authors if I need a case of the warm and fuzzies is Catherine Anderson, and a few of hers that I have particularly enjoyed are Annie's Song, Simply Love, and Baby Love
Chocolate Fondue - This one required no thought whatsoever.

Dark Chocolate - Extreme Exposure and Out Of Her League are the first books in a couple of Romantic Suspense series that I've read recently and really enjoyed. I don't think either one is the best book in the series, but both are still very good.
Chocolate Covered Ants - I noticed you have very little straight contemporary romance on your shelves - a couple of good ones to try would be Simply Irresistible (or really anything by Jill Shalvis) or Virgin River. And since Robyn Carr is the Featured Author this month, Virgin River can serve double duty!
Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR - The Mane Attraction I've enjoyed the first two books in this series, and don't know why I haven't made it back to it!
From Your TBR - Lover Reborn - I've actually already started reading this, but I'm only a couple of chapters into it.
I hope you can find something you like, if not let me know and I'll try again. Happy reading!

It is only the second day of April and I have already finished

Cheryl I love my picks! Glad you enjoyed adding to your book list. It is scary that I probably have most of the books on my TBR list. I think I'll start with
[book:Soapsuds: A Novel first and from there probably A Discovery of Witches. I think I need something a bit lighter than what I have been reading it will be the first one to start.

Thanks for being willing, Elke!

Hi Erin--We can start the buddy read any time. I am ready. You can start the thread, I have never done that before :-) Look forward to reading with you.

I have been planning to read Anna and the French Kiss in April anyway, so let me know if you like to join me for Buddy read. I have heard so many praises about it and I have ..."
The library didn't have 'French Kiss' so I ordered it and it should be here within two or three days. I will let you know when it gets here and then we can start it.

I see you have two Nancys - if you want, I can be Nancy C."
There may be more than one Nancy, but I think you are the only one participating in this month's PIFM Challenge... Oops, found it! It was a mistake on my part! Sorry about that!

I have been planning to read Anna and the French Kiss in April anyway, so let me know if you like to join me for Buddy read. I have heard so many praises ab..."
Ok Nancy, no problem , I'll have my pick to read in the meantime.
I'm glad you liked The Peach Keeper.
Looks like we have quite similar tastes in books, so I trust your good rewiev and that book went to the very top of my TBR.

I quite enjoyed looking at your shelves. I must have added a dozen books to my to-be-read list. For these recs I tried to stick with books I had read before and liked. I am going to t..."
Thanks for the recs! Loved them
I think I`m going to read Dragon Actually
And maybe I`ll try Zero at the Bone. If you want to do the buddy read, let me know!

hi, i'm sorry for not recommending sooner, but here they are:
Chocolate Raisins - chasing fire by Nora Robert. This lullaby by Sarah Dessen

hi, i can start buddy reading with you anytime you like, but i want to know if monday will be a good time to start.

Sorry for the delay.
I don't think you and I have ever read the same book. I don't know a lot about what you read but I have tried my best to give you a variety from what it looks like you..."

Nelly - lets go with starting on the 16th for a buddy read. Glad you liked my picks, this is my first timd doing this and I am learning a lot both picking for others and having things picked for me.

I finished Slave to Sensation. Hope you are enjoying the read as much as I did. I've added the next few to my TBR list. Soon it will be longer than my read list. Oh well. I told my husband my entire goal for spring break is to read a book a day. This was a great start!

I actually haven't read Frank's Shadowdweller series yet. >.< I haven't finished her Nightwalker series yet, so I didn't start it, otherwise I would love to finish it with you...but I'd be totally lost. >.<
However...I will definitely read Lover Unbound and will try to get Rocky Mountain Heat. I do like graphic novels, I used to read them a lot when I was younger, so maybe the Buffy one too.
Thanks for the recs! :)

I finished

I know you mentioned reading Lover Reborn with me this month but I think you should read it without me or with the other buddy read for it. You already have it and I have no idea if or when my library will get it in. I don't want to hold you up from reading it! I may not be able to get to it until May.
Thanks again for the great rec. I am also going to try and fit in The Day I Wore My Panties Inside Out if I can.

Tomorrow, Wednesday would be good for me, that way I can finish the book I'm almost done with. I'll put the thread up today sometime, though I've never done that before either.

I started a buddy read today and start work tomorrow so lets start next Saturday ... that way I know I'll..."
Hi Elise!
I've finished "Show no mercy" by Cinsy Gerars. I've liked it, 4 stars.
Ciao,
Ana

I have

We can start! Hope it will be a good read!

Since you really didn't have a lot of books on your to-read list that were available (but lots due to be released in the next few months), I did a combo of both as well as some good reads - let me know if you have any problems with the books
1. Chocolate Raisins
so according to your popular authors list, Kresley Cole, JR Ward and Richelle Mead top your list, so how about trying either Lothaire from your to-read list or Storm Born which while not on your to-read is the start of a series, by an author you have enjoyed in the past
2. Nut Clusters
I find Christopher Moore to be a good read, so why not try Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal - I about had a car accident one day while listening to the audiobook because I was laughing so hard or since you have read Julie James in the past and rated her books decently, the 3rd book in her FBI series - About That Night that is due out today
3. Truffles
I love the covers of both of these books -

4. Hot Cocoa
When it comes to snuggling up, I love books that I can get emotionally involved in, so I have a couple of recommendations for you here - Firefly Lane (but you might need some tissues), or for something a bit longer and more in depth, how about either Outlander or The Winter Sea
5. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Nora Roberts is always a sweet read for me, so how about the first book in her new series - The Next Always or (although I haven't read this one), Georgette Heyer was known as the Queen of Regency Romance back in the day, so how about False Colours
6. Chocolate Fondue
I love books where certain food items are used in intriguing ways, so why not try either Hot in Here (Gelato) or Zack (you might never look at Cheesecake the same again ;) )
7. Dark Chocolate
I have gone on a real mystery/suspense/thriller kick recently and the first books in 2 series that I have enjoyed are The Surgeon (there is just this sense of realism to Gerritson's work) or No Mercy about a former female army sniper
8. Chocolate Covered Ants
I know you have read some m-m before, but not lots, so why not try Clear Water which some of us are doing as a Dare you to read this month or how about some fantasy with The Blade Itself or Kushiel's Dart
9. Buddy Read from your TBR
how about trying The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms - I have it tenatively scheduled in a challenge this month - I was going to recommend Lover Reborn, but I have it on reserve in the library and don't know if I will get it this month
10. From my to-read
How about trying The Shoemaker's Wife: A Novel which I just bought today or The Baker's Daughter?

I actually haven't read Frank's Shadowdweller series yet. >..<
However...I will definitely read Lover Unbound and will try to get Rocky Mountain Heat. I do like graphic novels, I used to re..."
Lol, I must have confused your Nightwalker ratings with the Shadowdweller series. I thought you'd read the first two. Sorry about that. Hope you enjoy your picks!

Sounds good to me! I am not moving very fast with Lover Reborn though (still less than 20%) which is not typical for me with these books. So should we start About That Night in a few days, maybe Friday or Saturday? Or even later, whatever works best for you! We can figure out Faith & Fidelity later.

Your tbr is a little daunting (over 3000!)but luckily we had a bunch of titles in common. I hope you find something here you like :)
