It's almost midnight. Why are you supposed to be cleaning?
God, I swear, after 10:00, time just passes so quickly. It doesn't even make sense to me.
Because I don't have school tomorrow and I want to go dress shopping with my friends and if I don't clean my room I can't go shopping and THE MALL IS VERY NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART. *makes a face*

THAT IS THE MALL I AM GOING TO! If I get fed up with all the dress shopping and obnoxious banquet talking, I think I'll sneak away and read. xD

YAY! That's a fun mall. I also like the Legends one that's outside by the speedway, but only if it's nice outside.
Aaah Legends makes me extremely sad now because I met Emmie for the first and only time at Legends so there are all these memories and it just reminds me how far away she is and UGH. *internet friend problems*

WELL. I need to get a shower. I'm not positive, but I think my dad may have fallen asleep in the bathtub. *facepalm* I could always go to the other bathroom, but that shower has NO water pressure. UGGGGGGGH.
I'm going to check, though.

Because none of us have lives and we prefer talking about random nonsense to actually participating in one of the writing topics? xD

Awhh. That's adorable. I'm just imagining a baby Holden at a psychiatrist..."There's nothing wrong with me, I'm just not an idiot like 80% of the population of Kansas."
O.o Wow. That's ridiculous! You were smart so they thought you had mental problems?
YOU KNOW WHAT ALL OF THIS REMINDS ME OF?
The Report Card. That book is fan-freaking-tastic.

I believe that's the book.
BUT NO. NO. IT'S SUCH A GOOD BOOK. I LOVE THAT BOOK.
Where is Holden? I'm pretty sure he likes that book too. HOLDEN? Come help me defend The Report Card!
Andrew Clements was my favorite author in middle school. He's just so ajdskfa;jlsdkfjadsf

GOOD. YOU SHOULD STILL LIKE IT. YOU SHOULD NEVER NOT LIKE ANDREW CLEMENTS. The man was a genius. He's like... the John Green of my elementary/middle school life. I'm pretty sure I read all of his books at least twice and I read the report card about 6 or 7 times. I WANT TO READ IT AGAIN.
Hah, when I was younger and didn't have a car so I only got to go to the library once in a while and all I ever did EVER was read, I'd reread books so often.

AND THIS RIGHT HERE. THIS IS WHY WE ARE FRIENDS.
Aaah, School Story is so inspiring and happy making. And The Landry News. And Frindle. I also like Janitor's Boy. And No Talking. I AM GOING TO GO GET ALL OF HIS BOOKS AND READ THEM AGAIN.
Dude. Dude. Dude. He has some new books now that were not out when I was young that I haven't read yet. *happy dance*

I was really into dog books in grade school. And that one author who wrote about the kid who could hold the baseball cards and go back in time to meet the player. HE WAS A FREAKING GENIUS. Come to think about it, I've never even liked baseball, so it's really weird that I liked his books.

*Tries to remember what she read in elementary school* Umm. I remember really being into The Boxcar Children for a while ... until I realized how formulaic they were. I also loved Gail Carson Levine (and still do). And ... Roald Dahl. Oh, and those Dear America books.

I found the series I was ranting about. *sigh* nostalgia! I remember reading each of those in one setting.

I LOVED THE BOXCAR CHILDREN. But yes. They are very formulaic. But aaah. I had the biggest crush on the older brother. I think his name was... Henry?
GAIL CARSON LEVINE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS. YES.
Now I have the urge to go get a bunch of books from the J section of the library that I liked when I was younger and read them again. (I am going today... I think I'm going to clean them out of all the Andrew Clements books they have.)

YES IT IS GOOD. It wasn't one of his best, but I enjoyed it a lot.
AAAH YES YES YES I LOVED THAT BOOK. IT WAS MAGIC. But yeah... the sequels were kind of frustrating because... I don't know, they weren't done very well. And the second one didn't even have Alicia in it and I liked her a ton.

Yes! It also didn't make sense because like ... the first book was about them surviving in the boxcar in the woods, which was pretty cool. But then like, they just became normal kids and magically got adopted. And then they were like, "LET'S SOLVE MYSTERIES." The time period also magically skipped ahead about forty years and they were all about the same age ... made no sense. XD Yeah, Henry. I remember there was Henry, Violet, Benny, and ... Susan? Not sure what the older sister's name was ... I might just be thinking of Narnia. :P
YES. GAIL CARSON LEVINE IS THE BOMB. I was especially obsessed with Ella Enchanted, The Two Princesses of Bamarre, and Dave at Night. So good.
Oh, I was also really into the Unicorn Chronicle books by Bruce Coville. And then he took TEN YEARS to write the third book ... I waited and waited. *sobs*

YEAH! That was very odd. The first book is unique and fantastic and then... random mystery solving and a family. But I still read them obsessively. xD I actually have the first book. :D And I went to see a Boxcar Children play for my birthday in Kindergarten because I was obsessed with them and my mommy is fantastic.
ELLA ENCHANTED. Love that book. So much. Love. I haven't read those! I need to see which books of hers I haven't read. I loved Fairest as well.
I've never heard of those! But I love unicorns. I would've been into them.

Indeed. That reminds me, I also used to really love survival stories. Like, I loved Island of the Blue Dolphins and Julie of the Wolves, and things like that. It was cool to see how resourceful the main character would be in order to survive. I'd be like, "Okay ... I have to remember that in case I'm ever lost alone in the wild." lol XD
Fairest was a'ight but I didn't think it was as good as her older books. Same with Ever. Of course, once those books were coming out I was like 13-14 and I guess I felt a little old for them.
Oh, and those unicorn books were pretty cool. The first two were good, anyway. I finally read the third one over the summer but it was ... eh. So much for the decade-long wait.

AAAH I LOVED JULIE OF THE WOLVES. That book was so goood. My friends and I had a whole pretend game centered around that book.
Hmm. What else did I like? There were these Magic Attic books or something like that. There were four girls and they'd go in this attic and put on some clothes and the clothes they put on would transport them back in time or to some other place and they'd be something that had to do with those clothes. Like, this girl went back to medieval times and she was a princess and one of them was a tightrope walker in the circus.
I was also in LOVE with the Little House on the Prairie series. Aaah, those were my favorite books in Kindergarten and 1st grade.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I LOVE MOI LITTLE BOOKS.

DANG, THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD KID BOOKS. HOW COME I FEEL AT A LOSS FOR GOOD TEEN BOOKS? I read so much then, I haven't been to a library for MONTHS now! D=

Haha sounds like it would make a fun game!
Oh yeah ... I never read those. But when I worked at the library I had to shelve them all the time, so apparently kids still really like them. :P
OMG YES. HOW COULD I FORGET? I loved the Little House books. They were intense. I just thought it was really cool learning how people used to live and how difficult it was. Haha.
