In A Family Affair Liberty Lane is investigating whether a claim made by Lady Brinkburn about her eldest son not being the legitimate air is true or not. In investigating, she however uncovers a house of secrets and a bigger mystery.

Lianne (eclecticreading) I finished reading Sara Poole's Poison last night (posted up my review over here) so now I'm on to Elena Gorokhova's A Mountain of Crumbs. Yay for slowly getting through my to-read pile! I'm also slowly getting through Kevin J. Anderson's A Forest of Stars at the moment.

Nicole D. (thereadingrebel) | 1278 comments I am half way in A Civil Contract and have to say it is good. It's very unromantic so far.Jenny and Adam married in a marriage of convenience.I think Jenny really loves him but I know he doesn't love her.It is very differnet form Heyer's other novels most of the ones I have read were romantic comedies(not Cousin Kate which is a gothic romance).

I love Adam's sister Lydia she is very funny and Jenny's dad too.I really like Jenny but I'm not that fond of Adam.

I've been meaning to read this book, what did you think of it?

I'm still reading Kevin J. Anderson's A Forest of Stars but I'm also reading Tea Obreht's The Tiger's Wife at the moment and am slowly going through Christopher Duggan's The Force of Destiny: A History of Italy Since 1796 on my eReader xD
