Finish Ransome's Honor by Kaye Dacus -- It was really good! :)Now reading
Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble
I haven't started the Heyer one yet, I just got it a couple of hours ago from the library, but I'll let you know. As for the other one, it is a romance and is very good. You should try it, it takes place in Regency England.

The Silent Governess -- This book is really good! :)
A regency romance sounds like my thing ;) thanks!
And yes please do let me know about the Heyer :)

Soph wrote: "Arabella Arabella Nicole!! Really good and funny!! :D"It's coming in the mail. But It's not coming for a week.I will get to Arabella as soon as I can Soph.:)
I've never heard of Georgette Heyer. Who is she? (Other than an author, duh.)
she writes in the style of Jane Austen; she's written a TON of books and she's known for her wit and comedy. :) she wrote regency romances (EXTREMELY clean)
.
.
That's good, I hate books that are filled with nothing but intimacy scenes, like many of the Pride and Prejudice spin-offs are. You can have a perfectly good story without it.
My sentiment exactly!!
I will be reading Miss Delacourt has her Day (sequel to Miss Delacourt speaks her Mind) and I can't wait as the first one was amazing!
I absolutely LOVED Arabella and recommend it ! Great story and very very funny!! Wonderful hero and heroine as well!

@Maggie: Ikr? the Jane Austen books were FINE- why did everybody have to go making them rotten??? Jane didn't ask for their help! ;P

Yes, Avi is a great author! I really liked The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by him. It was a really fun page-turner. Definitely worth another re-read if I'm in the mood for some adventure. I haven't read the first Crispin book yet, but it's next on my must-read list (which means I'll be reading that next after City of Orphans)!
I liked the first Crispin book best, the second one absolutely failed because...well....you still have to read it for the story but I'm warning you it's quite disappointing. :/ and the third one was good, but not as good as the first. ;D in ALL the series was very enjoyable!
After watching Campion's film Bright Star (2009), I had to get the biography
John Keats by Walter Jackson Bate - only 780 pp!!
Alice wrote: "you read Crispin or Beyond the western sea????? that last one is my fav of his EVER."I LOVED the "Beyond the Western Sea" books!
So many characters and plots and all of them connected without even knowing it!"Perhaps they're after that key, too..." ;)
