I am almost 3/4 through Shadows and I am totally in love. Dawson is a little too sappy for me but I still love him and Bethany. Ok... back to reading!

I finally found a site where I could buy a pdf of shadows! And quess what for some reason I bought it, but can't download the file. Ugh I am so frustrated. Has anybody experience with booksonboard.com? And has the same problem as I have that you can't dowload you files. i bought 4 books of which 3 I can't download.

Yay! But what I don't get is why it's 8 pounds - the novella was quite short, isn't it? I'll wait until the price has changed coz it's probably incorrect

I know I don't get why it's 8 pound either when the pre-order of new version of Obsidian and Onyx is only 5 pound something lol
I've preordered it now because even if the price goes down you still pay the cheapest.

Somewhere on either this thread or the one for Onyx I have put all of my thoughts and conspiracies of what I think it is. I haven't even read the first chapter, I prefer to wait for the full book but I said that I think that what Dawson did to Bethany and what Daemon did to Katy is the same and it has an affect on the human. Changes them somehow. (view spoiler)[Bethany felt ill when the Arum was coming so does that mean that she could sense them? Did the exchange exchange more? Maybe a power? And Katy had it worse than Bethany as she was inbetween Daemon and Dee so will she have some power? Be able to sense Arum? (hide spoiler)]

Because it wouldn't be nearly as interesting if they didn't exist. I know the Arum are the evil bad guy characters but the DOD is too and I think they are more of a threat to them than teh Arum are.

Jana has already had an ARC and I'm hoping to get mine soon. I know I'm definitely getting one just don't know when. I got an ARC of Obsidian too and read it and gushed about it before anyone really knew anything about it lol

It's fun guess, i just got an arc for dark frost. I'm really liking those books but i hate how she starts of thinking a girls a bitch (believe me, the girl is one) but then after she wins the 'battle', she starts feeling really sorry for them and stuff....its SOOO ANNOYING!!!!

Anyway, back to.... shadows?

I can''t believe i haven't finished it yet! I ALWAYS finish any of jennifers books after i start them....i guess it's cos it's the first prequel i've ever read....I seriously don't like reading prequels after i've already started the first book cos its just so....meh.
I guess i would have liked shadows tons better if i hadn't already read the book after it. The percy jackson series were the only series where, even though i read them out of order, i still had the motivation to go finish the ones before it. (Cos i ACIDENTALLY started on the last one.....I seriously had NO IDEA it was the last one)....anyway, so shadows just isn't do it for me.... kinda sad to say
