Hi team,Sorry for the delay, busy day (Not as busy as you though Judithe, you must be wonder woman). Yes I was lucky enough to have AH on my team for Bingo round 2.
Thenia, thanks so much for moderating. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I will be reading The Haunted ( The Hollow - Book 2) by Jessica Verday. I finished the first book and still have yet to write my review, I must say I totally enjoyed it and can't wait to start this.
I'm just finishing Arena One: Slaverunners by Morgan Rice. You can read it for free on Goodreads. Started it last night and I will be finishing it in bed tonight. Will totally be recommending it. Morgan Rice is one of my favorite authors; her "Vampire Journals" series is amazing and this new trilogy will not disappoint.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and sweet dreams to all!
*** AH enjoy the weather tomorrow, it's supposed to be 8 degrees here, so hoping it's great for you too! ****
Ok question- can I change my book? And icant get my thing to search- can someone tell me if the latest house of night is on the supernatural list? All the others are...
Shelskharma (can I call you Shel?), yes you can change your book and if by latest house of night you mean
then yes it is on the supernatural shelf. ;)
We got it really fast, too! That was a surprise! How's everyone doing with their books? Having fun yet? :)
2/6/12 ****This is the 4th in Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series. I was rather "late" getting started on it, and it's not on my "have-to-read-immediately" list, but each book is enjoyable, and fun, exciting, hot read!
Gwen the harpy makes her debut, and I really love these harpies! (Also loved Nix's cameo!). Of course it's no surprise she and Sabin get their happy end (this is a ROMANCE after all), but there is plenty of action, sizzlin' & bloody and doubts & fears...will they really be able to trust each other? Can he leash his demon? Can she embrace her inner harpy?
I've got number 5 on hand...
~timely read for Valentine's Day just around the corner...
LOL...feel for you, Thenia! It's painful to watch students in the throes of their exams...we all dream of being FREE of that...and ain't RL a kicker, AH!And here's something from my other RL project (translation project, and very interesting...but also hair-pulling at times!) which let me see the sun on a very grey, rainy day...check it out if your have time!

Enjoy your reading whenever you can!
Off work and on to studying for tomorrow's exam... Not even your sun can bring light to my days right now! When the stupid exams are over I'm going to read for a week and RL be damned!
Good luck on your exams, Thenia! I feel your pain. I'm sure you'll do well! Glad you enjoyed LotU, Judithe. I cannot wait for Paris' story (#9) due out later this month.
I'm getting psyched for Paris' story, too...feelin' his pain too much! LOL!And that is definitely my rainy-day "to go" site...today, it's making an appearance without need of a telescope! Hooray!
I know, I can't wait to read more about him and see him finally get his HEA. Will be interesting to see how it plays out w/his demon and all.Very cool indeed! No telescope and dermatologist-approved. LOL!
Thank you ladies! Enjoy your books for me until I can join you! :)Steph, if I'm not mistaken you've got exams or something school related yourself? Either way ganbatte! ^_^
Yeah, I just finished my midterms actually. I have another 3.5 weeks until my finals. Good luck to us both! :D
I read the first three of that back-to-back, and have been waiting FOREVER for the next one...but this year, we get TWO!I do understand about the series-mix-up bit...frustrating at times. And forgetting characters...Who IS Lysander in LotU, really????? Why have I blanked him out?
Though, the "blanking" is more often on my "second-tier" series...the ones I'm not so invested in/love & am screaming at publishers' to get me the books faster....(authors' completed MONTHS ago...why don't I have my copy yet??)
Is it glaringly obvious that I'm procrastinating?? Well....back to telescopes and festivals!
I was only going to concentrate on Psy/Changelings, World of the Lupi and Weather Wardens this year. I keep on adding more. There's a list of completed series somewhere on SOS, right? Procrastination is cool...
Ain't it? Until the devils come to get you...from tonight's project...English version not up yet, because someone is cutting and pasting here....
I haven't read World of Lupi yet NOOOOOOOOOO.....not adding another one this year, remind me again NEXT year!, but LOVE the other two...Weather Wardens is finished (sob...really like it!) I think there is a list somewhere...muttering to self, NO! Now is really NOT the time to tracking down stray threads....they should keep themselves FOUND!
Hi group; Would like Arena One: Slaverunners by Morgan Rice as my free space if that's ok with you all. Half done "The haunted", hoping to have it done tomorrow.
Have a great night all
Finished my Supernatural Book - 2/8/12
- 4 starsWow. Nalini Singh does it again. She makes me believe that there ARE supernatural beings among us. I want to believe that there are super strong Changelings. On the other hand, I think I could do without the restrictions that the Psy impose among themselves.
This book focused on Dorian, a DarkRiver sentinel and leopard changeling. Dorian is latent - he can not shift into his cat. Because of his "disability" Dorian had the drive to be the best he could be. Dorian's love interest is Ashaya, and M-Psy and scientist.
Ashaya and Dorian seems to be opposites, but Dorian's cat is attracted to her. Ashaya also feels an attraction and she documents it in her journal.
I loved how Dorian came to the realization that Ashaya was for him.
Well done, lots of exciting stuff, and lots of smexy goodness.

Tania, where did you find it? (SOS bookshelf, new release thread or BOM?)
More...I want more Nalini...and you know what? It's even more fun to read out loud to the hubs...He now looks at me and asks "Are you reading Nalini again?"
Well, you know, you can make it kind of fun, especially how Nalini describes the leopards....or the way that the cat accepts the mate immediately, but the man is too pig-headed to see....
Judithe wrote: "3.5....that's just not fair! You must be on the quarter system! Hang in there!"LOL! My "semesters" consist of two 9-week courses. Then I start another two, and another two, and so on until done. Back-to-back-to-back-to-frickin'-back ...

That's just really sad ....... I'd go out of my mind if I had to do that. Very brave of you Steph.
Thanks! Yeah, it's not fun, but it's getting me my degree faster. So, I just try not to think about the fact that I've only had one 1-week break since starting in May 2011. The University only breaks between Xmas & NY, but students can (although not encouraged, in case they never feel like returning) take breaks as they wish. I'm thinking by May 2012 it'll be time for me to take a break again.
