Yes! I especially enjoyed Jennys story and the one on about Alec & Ben. Plus the Christmas Cake of course xD!

Bollocks!Going through the series' I want to read or have read some of and finding books I've bought and forgotten about! Now even more to add to the list!
another 2 down then.attempting not to give into temptation and purchase the rest of the Drake Sisters' books. So damn good!
I was thinking the same. But then, I might as well just pummel through all the read ones. Will be a lesson in self-control....
I managed to read another of my paperbacks but someone lent me one so the numbers didn't change! Next one is a present that is so not my kind of book so am 'letting' myself read whatever i want today and will start it tomorrow. Is it just me or does anyone else feel guilty when they do nothing but read a book all day - and finish it in one day?
I feel a bit guilty if I have other things to do, but I always say it's better than spending a day watching mindless TV or doing drugs *coughs*!
I only feel guilty if hubby ends up doing something useful like tidying up. Very rare that would happen though.
Haha!I generally only read when everything else is *done*. I never use reading as a way to avoid things - that is what the internet is for!
Well managed to read my book between Mon and last night. Didn't really enjoy it but i didn't expect to. Am also up to no 10 of the cross books. There are now only 13 paperbacks on the shelf although there are some of my Granddad's books on the landing bookcase that are unread, maybe i should add those.
I'm failing horribly at this. I began The Cave (which was sitting on my TBR pile), left it for Joan of Arc: The Mystic Legacy and then Siddhartha. I have to really WANT to read a particular book or it doesn't happen. Off now to sit on the naughty step. What shall I take with me...
Another book down - one that wasn't even added to the list haha, oops.Adding some covers so my to-read section looks nicer!
Maybe I need to update my to read section a little more.Started]
it's brilliant, as I've come to expect from Douglas Adams
I'm up to no 13 in the cross series but found out this week he is up to 20 and i have 16! I only have 11 books on the bookshelf but it will take weeks to read the current pb, over 500 pages and rather dull. Glad i didn't read it pre kindle!
Have finished the 16 Cross books i have. Now don't know what to read, am completely spoilt for choice. Not got much further with the pb as I've had no foster cat for 2 weeks so just been reading on the kindle.
Poor you. I am rather tired after a late night so having a film day - mind you, the dvd pile is as bad as the tbr pile, i am just a bit better at not buying them!
Well I'm not doing very well - am purely reading on the kindle as it is easier with the latest foster cat and have also been given another 8 books to read! I'm also trying to find a new challenge for April, thinking of reading just one author, just have to decide which, they have to have written a lot as i have time off in April.
I've been a bit fail in the last month reading terms thanks to doing a lot of studying. SO MUCH TO READ!!!!!
I've decided to do a different 'theme' for each month - two months still to decide though. This is the list so farApr - non fiction
May - Fav/trad male authors
June - Classics
Jul - Fav/trad female authors
Aug - Indies from this year (mainly our authors)
Sep - paperbacks only
Oct - Horror and ghost stories
Sounds good - will have to find one, as I have very eclectic tastes, and will read anything as long as it sounds interesting!!
Don't normally do romance, don't know what YA books are like these days. Only problem with reading books i wouldn't normally is it won't touch the tbr list, and all the others, except a couple of classics will
How bout making November and December just a chance to read the books on your TBR list that haven't fit into the other categories, or indeed ones you have that you didn't get a chance to read in the month that it would have fit into. If you understand my meaning... A couple of miscellaneous months I suppose
YEah, that sounds like a good plan, especially as it was very hard to narrow down male and female authors to just 4 - there are 4 that I couldnt pick as I have never read them, so can't say they are favourites, so new traditional authors could be Nov. I am going to start doing one month a year of reading classics, one way to make sure I read some (and there are a few I want to read, rather than just think I should)
Oh Dear, I've just been given another 4 books! I'm also dreading how many more i will have when i switch my wi fi on! At least i won't run out anytime soon!
