January's Build Your Own Challenge

Duration: January 1st - January 31st

It's the beginning of another new year of challenges here in the We Love Lisa Kleypas group! As always, I want these challenges to be only as challenging as you want them to be, and most importantly, I want them to be fun!!!!

~~As with all our Build Your Own Challenge challenges, you get to decide how to make this work for you.

~~Any books you choose to read for any Not Too Challenging Challenge can be overlapped with other challenges as well.

~~Any books you read from challenges outside of this group can count towards the challenges here.

The only requirement for this challenge is that the books you read must somehow remind YOU of January!

Restrictions:
You can list your books any time and make changes to your list right up until January 31st. The only restriction is that you can’t begin reading from this list until January 1st.

Lady Danielle - this will be my first Meagan McKinney so I'm really excited. Someone compared her to Judith McNaught so that sparked an interest. I've got my first Maggie Osborne's in there and a few series that I've already started. The only thing is all my books are due in 2 weeks!! Sigh.

I know a lot of the girls love Maggie Osborne. She's a good writer, but I didn't fall in love with her like some of the HR fans. Meagan McKinney writes very intense, old school HR with cruel-type heroes. I'll be waiting to see what you think.

The weekend librarians are great so I guess I should only go then. The funny thing is I live in such a small town, that this woman is practically my neighbor, so I can't understand the attitude. I think my kids even shoveled her driveway last winter

I didn't care for Flawless. I liked the premise behind the series but found the story slow and tedious and I didn't connect with any of the characters. So I won't tryStarlight when it releases. The only thing I did like was that it was away from the usual London ballrooms for a change.
