I finished listening to
and enjoyed it as much as the book. Did catch a couple of (small) things I'd missed (or forgotten) - not surprising since I first read it in 2009.

I have to "pre-order" them - though they have already been published in years gone by. See wh..."Lisa Kay, I just had a look at Better World Books, they have a couple of the later books for $7 and some of the anthology books for $6, if you're interested.
Thanks, Sandra! I do buy from BWB, but sometimes they have been owned by someone who smokes...the smell triggers a migraine. I know, I'm weird. I think I'll want to keep this set, so I'm just going to have to bite the bullet (or eat PB&J for a month). They're $7.99 at Amazon new. I loved the audio of the first one so much I may end up getting all the audios too! Eep! (Maybe the PB&J will be longer than a month!)
Mostly it was a batch from the 80's. I don't think women smoke anywhere near as much as they used to.
I know what you mean Lisa Kay. I'm like that with fragrance. My used problem is usually with fabric softener on hand me down clothes for my kids. I can't tolerate perfume at all, so I'm glad I work in a place it's not considered appropriate.
Oh, don't get me started on fragrance, gin! The people I worked with didn't understand why some bothered me and others didn't. Duh? Why are some people allergic to strawberries and other corn? Gheez! (And these were my sister nurses!) I taught an orientation class once a pay period with another instructor and I asked her to tell people not to wear perfume/cologne when they came to my class. (You know, projectile vomiting, etc.) She thought it was such a PIA. Then she comes and apologizes to me one day. Said she was walking through Macy's make-up/fragrance section with her 12 year old nephew and he fell down with a seizure from the fumes. Now see, I got started! Sorry, everyone, rant over. I really used to love perfume until I started getting migraines (with "The Change"). **sigh**
Rant appreciated! I'm a nurse also and we've only had a couple of people it's been an issue with. Most are considerate with fragrance. There are some MD missed the memo though.
Did I mention I will re-read them? :DLoved the challenge! I just need to finish the curent series I'm in... 4 books to go! hopefully by the end of the week I'm back to Nalini Singh's wonderful world!
I just realized something - The Psy-Changeling books will fit at least 60% of the shelves. At any rate, it fits the first shelf called. Yay!
Thank you guys and 3 more books to go here before beginning the challenge. Then will see how to organize the shelf thing
I'm in, I've signed up for the challenge as posted here: http://www.goodreads.com/challenges/2...(this is so interesting, I understand there's a new feature of goodreads allowing to define one's own challenges? I love the automatic tracking of it!)
This series is a first read for me, I decided to get it seeing it featured in this group, and it was a perfect fit since I was looking for fantasy books these days.
I thought there were 14 in the series so far, because I counted the first short story as well.
5/14 considering it, or 4/13 otherwise.
I'm at Mine to Possess and counting. :)
Currently reading
and loving it. Also found out that I'll be getting my pre-order of #4, #5, #6, & #7 from Amazon earlier than I was first told. ☺
I finished
and I'm happy to be re-reading the series. I found a couple of things that I missed or didn't paid attention in the first time. It's making even more sense now :)
here I go...
LOL, Bleunween! It's hard to grasp everything in series that have such detailed world-building in the first book. I have found myself catching things in both (so far I've only re-read #1-2) that I either missed the first go-round or had forgotten. It's gonna be great to rebuild the world during the series re-read and then jump into ToN. :D
yes yes and also I could review this time. I was away when I first read the series helping my friends with their twin babies!
Yes, I didn't like
as well as
- however, I'm betting it is going to be one of those books I appreciate more on the second read...
Just finished Angel's Flight, still deciding on a rating and I liked the new story, Galen & Jessamy.
I already finished GH series while I was reading Visions of Heat! lol I'm just itching to read the next Psy/Changeling! So I decided to try
meanwhile (as I'm already 1 book ahead of the Challange)
Enjoy, Bleunween. That's another one of my favorite series. Although, I wish there were more books w/the shifters - otherwise, good series.
Finished
and while I enjoyed the first two books, this one really makes me understand why everyone raves about the series. It is simply incredible.
