Ugh; I don't like biographies, so I got no clue!But I do love meteorites! I have never seen one, and since I live at the heart of a huge European city now, I doubt that I'll have the fortune to in the next few years. The astronomer in me is jealous!

He was certainly an interesting character. I read one many years ago that was really good but I can't remember the title. But, he did write an autobiography, and if you have a Kindle it's free since it's public domain.

Pretty decent read and covers fair amount of his life and times.
What books were you reading that piqued your Roosevelt curiousity, Laurel? One of them wouldn't happen to have been The Alienist would it?

I did. And I had a similar desire to know more about Teddy after reading it, but that desire went nowhere. It was before goodreads, so I knew no one who knew a good book to read about him.

Hi Guys, I need your help: I am looking for a SciFi novel that came out here in UK in quarter 1 2012 (I think) and was about a dystopian society in which pregnant women had to take some medication which would ensure that their children were 'perfect' or something like that - and the heroin rebelling against this...The cover, if I remember correctly was white, with a big red(?) pill on it.
Rings any bells?
