Me too! Great book!
Sounds wacky. I like this: "genre-busting." I'll try to participate but my plate is pretty full in December. I'll be interested to see what people say about it.

It won't ever be because I don't plan to read it in this lifetime or the next."

I actually know all that stuff quiet well. I just find all those games from the 80s too over spread, same goes for me for the 90s.

No, I don't find the book over hyped, I just find the material he is writing about over done.
Oh hipster Kev...when will you find your one true drizzt love...

Is this your "I like things a lot unless a lot of other people like them and then I don't like them anymore" bullshit again?

You're totally right. How dare Cline write about what he wanted to write about, without even consulting the official list of things Kevin says you are or aren't allowed to write about?!? The nerve of some people.

Pretty much!

He can write about whatever he wants, and I can have my believe whatever I want.

Oh my god, he totally is a hipster!
I never met one outside of an internet meme. ;)

I've known several, but they typically had better taste, most were smarter, and absolutely all of them were fully literate in their first language, so I never made the connection. Thank you, Ala!

How precisely does one possess a verb?

My sister got me that one! Been working on my entrelac purse lately... you checked out Ravelry.com yet?

While I agree that goodreads should be a place everyone feels welcome, I do wonder what motivates someone to post "I don't plan to read it in this lifetime or the next" about an upcoming book. Especially when that comment is preceded by him saying he thinks a book he never read is 'overrated'.
If you don't like a book that's fine but you should either be able to give real criticism or ignore the topic completely. If Kevin is going to make illogical and contrarian posts he shouldn't be surprised by peoples' reaction.

I'm just disappointed that I was left out. Can't I be a Mean Girl too?
..ahem..or at least Mean?

I like it at least you are trying to make both sides balanced even though the odds are always against me.

Hey guys, what's going o--

You don't even want to get in the middle.

What the hell does this comment even mean? Seriously... It makes no sense. It has no point. It's just.. Do you even try to compose comprehensible sentences? Or do you just spew whatever comes to mind and hit post without reading it?

This is absolutely false. Everyone knows the best Disney movie is The Little Mermaid.
I mean, just look at that castle!

*tackle hugs Colleen*
*tackle hugs Nicki*
*tackle hugs Ala*
*tackle hugs everyone else*

You all should know, I always on the opposite side of most fads.

THIS!!!!
*sings*
what would I give, if I could live, out of these waters...

Is that a castle in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me? ;)
Besides, Beauty & the Beast is the best. Belle reads. :)

I always start the augment, then the same four of five people are always on the others side. At the end it just turns into a screaming match that always gets nowhere.
