Anything Goes Thread - Except That
I am having a good day, despite the fact that I am trying to pack & wrap everything to get it in the mail for Christmas. How is this possible? I got the third interview, bitches.
Yay! Congrats Denae! But damn, how many interviews are they going to make you do? They should start paying you for doing them, it's like a full time job already. 'Interview 45835774... Haven't we heard these questions before?"
I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.

Three interviews. I'll only be talking to one guy twice. The rest have been with peers or managers from other parts of the company.
The interviews are that guys only way of getting a second date

I love how Mom gets all SUPERMOM on him and is like "I need to take you to the doctor" rather than "You need to see a doctor". O_o

Haha... I used to listen to them every day when I would get ready for work at a crappy waitressing job. It would always put me in a good mood for some reason.
That never lasted long once I clocked in though.

This was my going to work song when I worked at this place I HATED.

Becky wrote: "LOL that's a good song. I like Jill Scott. :)"Me, too.
Sometimes when I was really upset I would put on my iPod and blast that song on repeat to myself.
Yes. Just like that. That website... damnyouautocorrect.. It's like an anti-depressant all on it's own. I can be crying and down and out, open it up, and I'm laughing within minutes. Love it.

I have a blackberry and I turned on the autopredict thing just so I could maybe have some stupid inappropriate text mistakes.. But nope. My phone refuses to get all posture on me, it totally swords me out. It's auto carrot function is smarter than apple.Lots of autocorrect jokes in there, all intentional, just for the record.
Dawn wrote: "I have a blackberry and I turned on the autopredict thing just so I could maybe have some stupid inappropriate text mistakes.. But nope. My phone refuses to get all posture on me, it totally swords..."lol!
Posture up!
Mess up one time and she won't forget it
I'll swords you out, Dawn
Innuendo, as almost always, intentional

I just have a Blackberry Bold. My work pays for it. Unlimited everything. They're changing to iPhones in the future, but it will be a while before they trickle down from management to us regular folks.

I hate my BB cause I can't use it - email only, lol. It's often out of pwoer as well.
I'm horrible. I should get a better one so that I would use it...but I'd rather just find a way to have my email come to my iPhone. Then my company would pay for it. But I'm on a family plan.
The logistics boggles me.
I had a personal phone, but I had it shut off earlier this year. Pointless to have two when I can just use one for free. And no family plans for me to worry about. Loner :P
I should use that cards and fellatio line...
I pay $0 a month. Yay work phone! And when it breaks I just call IT and they give me a new one. Yay work phone!
That would be annoying as hell
Why haven't I thought of it <.<

Mr fancypants over there
Pfft
Pfft
I'm a nerd, not a geek. Cause geeks are all techno, and I'm technostupid. Technology escapes me. I just like reading fantasy and playing video games, so that's like a nerd I think.

My laptop screen is doing it's own thing color wise. I just nod at it and pray it lasts a bit longer.
Someone else can plug in my video game system though.Ok I'm not that bad. But I do need someone to do my wireless router so I can use my PS3 to get on the internet :P
*technodumb*

I have a wireless router. It had been in use, but ex had set it up. I don't know how to set it back up after I moved into the new apartment... Encryption and like ip addresses and passwords... I have no clue. I can like plug it in.... If the plug doesn't fit one way you flip it over... After that I'm done.

I can't, lol.
LOL, I totally would if I thought I was capable of being walked through it.. But when I say I'm technodumb.. I mean it. Someone starts talking to be about that stuff and I fall asleep or my brain explodes. I just don't know and don't care to know. I'm smart enough, I could do it if I tried.... I just want someone to come do it for me, lol.
She won't let someone walk her through it. Too much work :P

My head exploded when I tried to talk her through putting books into Calibre to get them onto her Kobo.
I figured out Calibre! I would have preferred someone else to do it for me though. Like I hand them my kindle, say what I want done.. Then poof! Done. Seriously. I'm more than smart enough to handle it. It just bores the shit out of me.
Ala wrote: "She won't let someone walk her through it. Too much work :P"That damn streaming thing again? I'd need the wireless first! That's a lot of walking. Maybe we should start small. Teach me how to make the music on my computer play in my living room. LOL :P

So I guess you have no interest in hooking your Calibre Library up to your smartphone for easy ebook library access...
:-D
Ronald wrote: "Dawn wrote: "Okay, here's what you do. Find the little button on the outside of the router (it's usually in a small depression)..."That's about as far as I got before I fell asleep....
Anyone wanna talk about complex differential equations?!?!?
I'm weird.
MrsJoseph wrote: "So I guess you have no interest in hooking your Calibre Library up to your smartphone for easy ebook library access....."Damn you! NO! Books on computer. I figured out all the buttons I need to push to make them go on the kindle. That's alllll I need.
