Brilliant, i find i have a little sympathy for the washing machine, like Frankensteins monster, he just wants to live! ;-)
Oh dear. Now I have to think about his motivation and stuff...

I am interested to see where this is going to go. Chuck in the day job and just get to it. You don't have to eat and having a roof over your head is just overrated.
Well I could do with eating a bit less... and I will be too scared to go into the kitchen now anyway!
I'm hoping for a teaspoon uprising.
Yeh, charging the washing machine astride trained forks and pelting it with instant coffee granules so hard they make dents in the metal casing and crack the glass door... I'm going a bit far aren't I... Gingerlily has turned me into an appliance fantasist... mwah hah ha ha haaaargh.

A washing machine actually plays a significant part in the book I'm currently writing! Strange old world!
I remember you saying that - but does yours have to be chained up to stop it escaping and brutalizing the rest of the kitchen?
You need to fit in a dead air conditioner that lies in the corner slowly leaking warm water.
Just finished your story - last in the anthology Re Awakenings, an anthology of Speculative Fiction. I really enjoyed it - and the others of course!

I didn't know that star-fish are not fish. Well you learn something new every day.
I have a photo of a starfish in Nausica, Bologne with a leg missing. It seemed perfectly happy.Cheers

i have a picture somewhere of a pigeon with a leg missing. It seemed to manage ok.
Starfish can grow their legs back, pigeons can't. In fact I think the leg can grow a starfish back...
My poor little brain is hurting as it is stuffed full of facts about Edinburgh Castle and scottish history. I cant think abour regenerating starfush as well!
