Level: Easy, 2 books.
Progress: 1/2
Updated: 10.29
Book #1
I read
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie(10.28) This was made into a movie several times; one of the first being in 1974 and starring Albert Finney.
Hi, I've just finished Howl's moving castle. I started it last week and I only bought it because I LOVE the movie. Already seen it about 15 times in only a few months. So, my question is - would it be OK, if I set the start date back to October 5th? That'd be great.
I'd like to "take off" with medium. My first choices would be
1. Mission: London
2. All the King's Men
Plus, if there's no problem to start with a just read book, I'll add Howl's Moving Castle. I've just ordered (like in between writing this post) The Little White Horse on Amazon, so that might be the fourth book for me. Besides I've got some other books as expansion options :).
UPDATE 15/11/11 - Changing the books, adding a start date.FINISHED
20/11/11 - 19/12/11
2/4 - Update 30/11/11
3/5 - Update - 01/12/11 - I'm adding a book, cause I just started reading and couldn't stop until I was finished. This way I'm upgrading my challenge, although I'm still in the Medium category.
4/4 - Taking a book out, since I won't be able to finish in time.

- http://imdb.to/uwp63LP.S. If someone ever decides to watch Mission London, don't have too high expectations. It's good, it mocks all the bad traits we Bulgarians have, and it's nicely done. But it's difficult to understand and to get into for people outside of the former Eastern block. Anyway, if you decide to watch it, manage to find it and actually like it, I could only be happy about it :)!
I have five books on my Next-up list that qualify for this. We'll see how many I get through in November. One Day
What Was She Thinking?: Notes on a Scandal
Kitty Foyle
Room at the Top
The Caine Mutiny

I'm in. I will post my list later. I have a few books that I want to read in the next month and they fit into this perfectly. Based on a Book Mini Challenge
Time Frame: October 29 - November 29
Level: Easy (for now)

Did not complete :(2.
(finished 11/4/11)
I now have a start date on this challenge of 10.28.11. See original post #12 for progress information.
Do upcoming movies count? One for the Money is released in theaters at the end of Jan 2012. Can the book be read now for this challenge?
Yes, I will count that one- they've already likely finished the movie- it's just in post-production phase. If they are already filming something, I think I'll even count that. If they are just casting something... then I don't necessarily have faith yet that it will "happen"

Time Frame: 30 days from Unsure Yet
Level: Easy, 2 books (might change)
0/2 Complete
1. The Princess Bride
2. The Other Boleyn Girl
Definitely would like to do this one too! In process of finishing a few series so unsure of an actual start date:• BasedOnABookMiniChallenge •
Time Frame: 30 days from Mar 25 2012
Level: Medium, 4 books.
Progress: 2/4
Books:
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
The Rules of Attraction: A Novel
I'm doing this because I've been reading a lot of books like that recently. But one of the books I'm reading is the Game of Thrones series (I'm saying tv is close enough to books) and so I have no ideal how many I'll be able to read in 30 days.
Jennifer wrote: "I have five books on my Next-up list that qualify for this. We'll see how many I get through in November. One Day
What Was She Thinking?: Notes on a Scandal
[book:Kit..."
And, apparently, that would be ZERO because I haven't started any of them yet. Putting this challenge off, probably until January because December is already pritmuch spoken for.
Natasha wrote: "I didn't finish in my time range although I still plan on reading the other two books."You completed enough for the Easy level of challenge, so I'll count you as completed for that level. You can always do this challenge again with other books.
And because I haven't joined enough challenges yet (and need some motivation for reading the rest of the damned Twilight series), I'll do this one too. XD

Alana--I was looking at the participant list, I'm reading my books this month, not Jan. I write my dates backwards. Sorry for the confusion!

I'm finished - 4 out of 4 read. I had to take one out, and reduce them from five, because I won't finish in time :(. Too bad. But it's 1300 pages and I'm back in Bulgaria, which basically means way less time for books :(. Still, medium level - I beat you ;)!
I will do the easy level for Now.January 11, 2012 - February 11, 2012
