What Are You Reading? Part 1

Glad you loved Bone Season. That book was amazing. And I hope you enjoy Untold better than Unspoken. Although both were faves of mine.

Oh great Laura thanks. Will be trying out this one on audio then :)

Oh Kasey I liked The Devil's Metal a lot. Read it a few months ago. Very interesting story.

Shoot, there was a narrator that Cora Carmack was going on and on about at the book signing and I meant to remember his name. She said he had a British ac..."
I read the first book but got the second one on audio and I think it's a male narrartor and he was good as far ad I remember. Maybe it's him?

Oh yes this is a really good story. And there is a novella coming out next month

Oh Kasey I liked T..."
Yay! I wasn't too worried because I really like her other series, but it is also not my normal type of book lol

Hahahaha you're too funny Tonje. But I can totally appreciate where you're coming from. I've been thereyself with lots of books. It's a love/hate thing. I plan on giving This Man another try in a couple of weeks.

Oh yay Mel! So glad you loved The Bone Season too. Such a good story and great characters. Can't wait for book 2 to find out what happens next with Paige and Warden!
I'm glad you guys are liking
because I won it from GR's (first book I have won here) and it's to big not to be good.

Oh another fellow Christmas baby!! Mine was last week:)

Great to have you back Sylvia!!

Maybe she was referring to Dan Bittner hes the narrator of Faking It.

Possibly, I'll check it out!

How are you liking

It's a cute read. There's humor to it. :)

Thanks, it really surprised me with how good it was:) I didn't like Unspoken because I couldn't deal with how unreliable a narrator Kami was. She totally kept changing her mind especially concerning Jared every two seconds and I couldn't figure out what exactly was it that she wanted.

Thanks I'll have to check it out.

I really did love it. I'm super excited for what's to come with Warden and Paige too because I was so not satisfied with that ending lol.

Though it is long, it's a good one. Enjoy!

Congratulations Tracy! And it's most definitely a good one so happy reading :)

Happy belated birthday Bridget!

So I took Belkis' suggestion and read

I think I might shelve

I am also reading

And still feel free to throw out suggestions. I'll have to go back to Belkis' suggestions to find something else I might be interested in.

Same for me Mel. That ending wasn't terrible but not great either. But I guess it's perfect for setting up the next book. Hopefully the momentum continues getting better and better.

Are you in the mood for a particular type of story or genre Danielle? I find that for myself I have to change up the genre every other book otherwise I get bored.

Yeah, it was kinda killer because Paige spent almost all of the book hating Warden and being distrustful of him and then when they finally put all of that behind them it ends like that, I was like "you cannot be serious." But I feel like a lot of the unresolved things will carry over into book 2 because I doubt we've seen the last of crazy Nashira.

Not sure might need to take an off day. Plus I can go back a pages and check what you suggested before. I definitely liked how well plotted the plot was lol. So more books like that are good. I might go to the. Lux series idk. Lol

Hey you know what Danielle, maybe checkout some of these series. They're centered around one couple throughout all of the books. They just continue with different situations but the main couple and main secondary characters and overall main plot stays consistent.

You're spot on Mel, that end had me tearing up for them too. And I have the same feeling that we'll be seeing more of that crazy psycho in future.

I actually loved the Audio of The Bone Season Laura. This book has a lot of hard to pronounce names which the narration takes care of for us. Plus the main character is Irish and the narrator pulls off the accent beautifully and brings a whole new dimension to the feel of the story. I was very happy with this one on audio.

So glad you liked the first Demonica book Danielle. And even though each book focuses on a different sibling all of the books follow an overall main plot. Plus all of the siblings and main characters flow through all of the books so you'll still get to have them all tagging along :) love this series!

Thanks, I appreciate that. I think I might pick up book 2 of the fever series.

Yea I'm definitely leaning to book 2. Book 1 was definitely hot stuff.

Good luck! ;-) haha
Let me know what you think when you are finished :-)

I liked the Trylle Trilogy all the way up until the end of the last book. It's not how I wanted it to end at all!! But other than that, it was great. And very different.
OK, I just finished
and I am really at a loss for words. This book tore me up inside and out. I cried, actually cried and just now am I able to breath. Very touching, emotional, beautiful, horrific story.

I've been trying to muster up the emotional courage to dive into this one for a long time Tracy because I know that it's going to gut me when I read it :'( I plan on reading it soon. Hopefully I don't chicken out again.

I know Belkis. It has been on my TBR since May 2012. Until about 70% of this book I told myself I didn't know how I felt about this book but the ending is just so emotional. Very touching book.

Yeah I can only Imagine. Will definitely be reading it this next year.
