I just finished and OMG I bawled like a baby! The ending was so sad! And I dont mean the climax. The climax was what everyone knew it would be from the very beginning. But the ending... I feel betrayed! The series was entirely set up with all the archetypes of classic fantasy, and led me to believe that it would have the predictable ending. OMG I am still crying! I dont understand why this had to happen! The series was beyond perfect before the ending!

Well, its not like someone died or anything, everything turned out ok, its just that after everything they went through I think the hero should get to rest and be happy now, but instead he decides to abandon everything and continue serving his sense of duty. Dammit! It wasnt the ending I wanted, but I guess it wasnt bad. *sigh* If I overreacted I blame the PMS.

Ooh it's really good very fantastical and fairytale like you will live Brennus (sexy eyebrows lol) before I knew it I was finished and the cliffhanger oh my lol

I'm really not into vampires and werewolves. I love Oriental themes, so my faves are Lian Hearn's Tales of the Otori, and Kylie Chan's Wudang trilogies. I just finished Heaven to Wudang, and can't wait to read the other books in the series. Both Aussie writers too! (Just a coincidence honest :-))

LOL so you didnt like them huh, its funny so many mix reactions on this... i like the trilogy i didnt like the last book though i felt it was rushed and just alot unanswered but im hoping the movie might make up for it

I think the author wanted it this way. At first, I was annoyed with how all over the place it was. But as I thought about it, I realized that it wasn't supposed to be this book all wrapped up in a nice neat package. It was supposed to make you think and question.
