Don't feel sad. I said I'd never love Warner after the first book. Then I read Destroy Me and Unravel Me. Now I love Warner more than annnnnnyyyyyyyttttthing!!! <3 Warner

They're worth the read. We really don't know who she ends up with until the last book, but there's plenty of steam in book 1 and 2. But Adam is amazing too. You really should read them :)

And as for The Chicagoland series, I have most of the books in my library too because the first books in the series had great reviews and ratings and sounded really good. But there's been a lot of mixed feelings over some of the later books in the series. Then the last couple of books have gotten better reviews, so sort of mixed. Some of my friends seem to really like this series and keep telling me to read it LOL! So I'll see how you like it and maybe give at least the first book a try once I wrap up some of the series I'm reading now.

I saw your earlier converation and all the people who read the books first absolutely hated the movie, but because I watched the first movie first and then read the books, it turned out that I hated the books instead!! If you thought the CoB movie was different from the books, you should try PJ lol

, holy crap! I'm so nervous! So much is happening and I'm getting distracted from it. But I'm pushing through to finish! Damn, it sucks going to bed with a cliffie on the brain. Grrrrrr
I'm sure there are many more that I can't think of off the top of my head as well as all of the ones that now have all the books out but I'm just getting around to reading them for lack of time :) and from those I'm loving
Annie, I saw City Of Bones tonight. I really, really wanted to love it. My friend loved it but she didn't read the books. So I'll start with the good points: Well it was definitely better than the Twilight movies! Simon is pretty much the character I would imagine. Clary looks like how Clary is described. I actually didn't mind Magnus but I had a different image of him.
Now.....everyone else failed to impress me. I LOVED Jace in the book and this guy was not hot enough to play him. He had a ginormous forehead! His acting was ok but that's where it ends. Clary pissed me off. WTF was up with Valentine? What was with his hair? Why did they make his character look like that?
It's hard being a diehard fan because when they change practically all the events it can really piss you off. I'm gonna say it wasn't a bad movie but it was poorly adapted.
And goodness the wait for these is killing me!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! I agree! Being the die-hard fan that I am of this series for 3 years now, I'm sorry but they screwed it up. Nothing was how I imagined it to be. I only liked Simon and Jocelyn. That's it. Everyone else sucked in my eyes. Okay, Clary was not bad, but she could've been better.
I wanted to love it, I really did. And it sucks that I won't be seeing the other movies because I can't bear to sit through another FAIL for me with this series. Sigh. I liked Percy Jackson SO much better. I loved everything about that movie(s). Of course I love Logan Lerman too, but that's not the point. Is it? LOL

Lol, I'm never going to read The Percy Jackson books otherwise I'll get mad at the movies! The adaptation for The Host was much better.
Seriously that guy that played Jace had such an enormous forehead! I just can't get over it. Shame, oh shame. I'll still see the next movies though. My sisters dragged me to all the Twilight movies and I had to sit through Kristen Stuart's shitty acting all the while gritting my teeth and rolling my eyes, so this is a walk in the park.

I'm so glad KMM got Fever movie rights back. Dreamworks would totally ruin my favorite series. there are lots of great actors out there but I can't imagine anyone doing Barrons justice.

, I think I just found my new favorite PNR series, and Clay is my new favorite psychopath after Barrons. Though, Elena pissed me off few times so much that I wanted to slap her silly and give up reading.
At the moment I'm reading The Slap, though I haven't got very far in. :)

Hahaha really?! I actually loved the movie and the books. They did change some stuff but overall I thought Percy was more accurate than CoB.

last night. Literally had to make myself stop reading it and put it down. I just have a feeling... a bad feeling. ugh! Why is JLA such a great author?! I will have to finish it today. I HAVE to... sigh. I hope I don't cry.

haha. Not ashamed, but it's funny how we all changed our perception of him after bk 2. So awesome, right? I have a feeling that the novella will challenge all of us women... I'm so conflicted!

Holy shit! I finished Angelfall. Can it be November please???? Damn that book was AWESOME! I love Raffe!!! That ending scene....my heart broke for him. Awwwww such a sweet guy! I loved seeing his anguish, only because it showed he actually cared. But I still wanted to hug him! Love love love it!!!! Pen was a badass heroine! Wow! Brilliant!
