Well,
was pretty good, but didn't hook me for the series by any means. I need to start
but I was just sent the ARC of
so I'm dropping EVERYTHING for this!!!

YAY! Ahhh . . . loved that. I just wish it had been longer like the Rock Chick books

I need to get to these, I'd heard a lot about them and bumped them up, but others kept getting in the way!

Yeah Laura I was so excited to finally get to it since like you I'd heard so many good things about it and I'd had it on my TBR list for a long time. But sadly, no, it was not very good at all. At least for me. And compared to all of the great ones we've read and the piles still left to get to, nope, this one fell way short for me. Most of the book was spent on the 2 MCs sniffing around each other! And not even great lusting :( I'm so over spending energy on mediocre books when there's the promise of great ones to be had :)

I so need to start on all the great Kristen Ashley books. I have them all sitting in my kindle waiting their turn. Plan on starting The Unfinished Heroes & Dream Men series next month :)

That's the one thing I dislike about being a blogger, the idea that I need to push through the bad ones because they were given free for review. I do miss being able to just chuck it and say 'nah' when the need strikes me.

I'll be interested in seeing what you think of her writing. I tried out three of her books (across 2 series), and I got progressively more and more irritated by her characters that everyone seems to love. Seriously, 2 were almost DNFs and they have well above 4.0 ratings, I just don't get it. Maybe her writing just isn't for me, but I look forward to seeing your reviews!

FYI***Just wanted to let you all know, Sylvia is under the weather and is recuperating, but she wanted everyone to know that she'll be back soon! Send prayers for a speedy recovery her way!

I totally love the Under The Never Sky dystopian Laura and can't wait for the last book

Ah man, well we're sure going to find out because I have 2 series slated to start in my September reading lineup :)

I've got all of her books Laura and I'm hoping they're good too. Have heard so many great things, but who knows since so many mediocre books get great reviews *sigh*

Everyone said to read Sins & Needles first.

No doubt!! There are definitely some series I can't wait for, but it's a great idea given there are so many that have books months or a year apart.

I really like her, some it is predictable but I still enjoy it. She writes really sexy Alpha men. I would strongly recommend reading the Dream Man series before going to Own the Wind but you don't have to.

I liked

READ DIVERGENT. It's awesome.

I really liked Axel, too! BUT I have to say - Bridget, I'm a little surprised you haven't read Divergent yet?! OMG, you NEED to read it! SOOOO GOOD!

Divergent, Divergent, Divergent!!! *jumps up and down*

Darn, I had ITD up for read next week. Sorry it didn't impress, I'll at least read it just because it's Samantha's. I got my copy of Wethering in the mail today, I'm SO dying to read it now but I'm in the middle of another one I can't put down. Hope it's better for you than ITD was!

O.M.G. Annie! They are up there on my favorites list. Gosh - which is better? Honestly, they are both great. I think Divergent > UNS but only slightly. They are different than each other. You really need to read them (Four vs Perry vs Roar... sigh)- plus they're fast reads! Enjoy!

Donna, I'll definitely give both a shot. I have both books sitting on my shelf forever. Did you rate 'em both 5 stars? Are they as good as THG? Love that series! I read Matched/Crossed. I just got bored with dystopia. But I'm trying to mix up my reading so I don't get bored of NA.

Divergent, Divergent, Divergent!!! I love UtNS too but Divergent is better.

Honestly, I liked Divergent better than THG. I'm not a fan of Matched either. These books are way better. Just to let you know how much better: my hubby actually read both series and is readily anticipating both new releases. ummm, from the guy that doesn't read! I think they are both both on my favorites list - & 5 stars... you'll love them. (I hope!)

I brought Looking For Alaska, Paper Towns and Will Grayson, Will Grayson. I haven't read the other books yet but I'm about to start reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson as I said.
Any thoughts on this book or just John Green's books in general? Is it just me who has fallen in love with him?!

I just felt it made her more sympathetic. She is kind of a bitch in Sins and Needles lol

um....both, but if you don't like this genre at all then why bother with either? Under the Never Sky was my favorite of the two and I have heard that the second one in that series is even better than the first ( I just got it though so I have not read it yet) and it is a shorter, faster read than Divergent with a little more original plotline IMO, but Divergent has a little more action and suspense and I really liked Four so it is kind of a toss up for me :)

Well, Annie, it seems there are lots of Divergent fans here! Lol. I'm being fussed at for not having read it either, so im going to read it this weekend. I've had it sitting on my bookshelf for months. It's time I get to it.
