Oh, please do. I like the writing, but be aware,there is the subject of drug withdrawl in it. I don't mind, but for some it can be disturbing.

The author changed her writing style in the seqeuls, why would she do that? I love her style in this one.

I like books that are edgy and gritty and a bit raw. Rarely do I enjoy the happy-go-lucky-the-sun-is -shining-out-of-our-behinds type of books.

Yes, her first book is so strong and unique but book 2 was not as strong or as funny. I still read it though and it wasn't bad or anything and some of the characters from the first book are mentioned and/or make appearances, it just wasn't fantastic like this first book. And the premise for book 3 didn't really wow me and is taking forever to come out. So I guess I'll have to wait and see how she does with that one. Sigh, Odin...

Oh good, I really wasn't too keen on the idea of them skipping ahead so far into the future for the last of their story. Guess that's what I get for skipping ahead and reading the synopsis for the other books! LOL Very happy to hear we see more of them in the next series, too!!

Barrons and Mac are talked about in Iced but not really in it. It was good but really missed Barrons. Moning said the next would have them in it with dual POV's, I believe. Think she said that on twitter. Anyway don't think she would just end those two.

and loved it! Its a dark, medieval romance. A hero who actually, literally, kidnaps a damsel and locks her in a tower, and manages to convince her to love him in time. :P
