Super sarcastic and funny. I just started it but I've already laughed out loud at a couple parts.

Well get with it LOL! It is so good and gets even better in the second book when Logan is introduced and more romance comes into play.

You're analogy to books compared to 300 channels is so spot on lol

Ended up starting
before I was finished with my other book, and it totally took over my reading for the day!! Loved this; it wasn't perfect, but the angst, pain, heartache, passion, and humor was what I love in a great story!!
On a side note, I finished
and...well, I am not quite sure what to say. It's part sickening, part "lotta sex", part crazy-ass strange, and VERY clearly written by a guy. I can't see a woman writing a story where lesbians acted like this, it's like a guy's fantasy of what could happen behind closed doors!! Ugh.
On to
!

Just switch it up to another genre, that always fixes things for me! I switch between NA/contemp romance, PNR, YA, dark erotica, and the occasional completely different genre just to spice it up! LOL

She was definitely better in the second and third books, IMO. I didn't like her at all in Finale, unfortunately. =(

Awesome!! Thanks hun, I've added it to my "currently reading", though I'll give it a bit before I get it started because I'm still reeling from Tied Man! LOL I hadn't heard of this one, so I'm glad you posted it on here. =)

Will do, my dear! Hopefully I'll get to it next week, it's long so I'll probably read it alongside a lighter story. LOL

I'm half-way through Impulse and it's so good! I have to thank you both Bridget & Sara for recommending this series! I think it's gonna go on my favorite shelf!

Yeah you're right. Lol, It's time for a switch for sure. Ok, meltdown over:)

Haha. I loved your little rant!!

I love them and hate them. The organization freak in me likes checking them off the list and moving on to the next one quickly, but I hate the waiting (cliffies especially), the rehashing, and how much I forget in between!!

I do that too.. switching genres..

I have to change up genres every other book if not I go crazy LOL!

Yeah me too, if I read too many books of the same genre they all start to seem alike..

I have both of these Bridget. I read Beautiful Demons and really didn't like it but I have Grave Mercy on audio to just haven't listened to it yet.

Loved Grave Mercy, I read it. I also really liked the second book Dark Triumph, I listened to the audio for it and it was good.

Good to hear. So far im liking Grave Mercy. It's definitely very different.

Want to read this series but don't know where to start. Can I skip the prequels and go straight to reading Throne of Glass? Or would I be missing a lot?

It's quite possible, I've had that happen with several series. I know everyone raved about
and said it was incredible before I got to it, and I just thought it was good.
And I know you all love it, so don't hate me for saying that!! LOL

I'm in the mood to start a really good YA series, so I'm looking forward to starting
once I'm done with Unscrupulous!!

LMAO!!! Nice rant! Someone should take pity on us and create strong and logical heroine, who will not end up pregnant until the epilogue. I would do it myself but my English is crap. :D

I've encountered Tied Man before, read the summary and moved on. after reading your review I know I've made the right decision. Men being abused is something I cannot stomach. It's beyond my limits.

I am not really a fan of that series either. I stopped after book 2.

I would read the prequels first, they really set up the story and are amazing reads! You will enjoy Throne of Glass much more for reading them first!

If this book is as disturbing as it sounds, then for sure you will need something funny to take your mind off. I recommend

I really liked this trilogy by Samantha Young Erin. I read it a while back, it was my first encounter with her writing and started my ronance with her :) also loved Drip Drop Teardrop. Hope you enjoy it.

I want to read this one eventually Jenny, keep us posted. Hope it turns out to be really good.

I know, Sara. I never see anyone talking about it. It has good reviews and it's one of my fav series. I don't understand why everyone isn't raving over it all the time on here.
