I loved Losing It (Losing It, #1) by Cora Carmack and the second book is just as great :)

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Finished Blood Past (Warriors of Ankh, #2) by Samantha Young and it was good but I didn't like it as much as the first book for some reason. But it was still a good read. Continuing with Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) by Colleen Hoover it's so good! And also started Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George :)

Well, I dont think Losing It (Losing It, #1) by Cora Carmack is really anything new. Its just perfect for me. It didnt have any of the things I hate about contemp. It had a great, relatable heroine, no bad boy, no unnecessary angst or drama, it was fairly light and fun, and had an amazing HEA!

It was 2.5-3 star read for me. The story had a potential, but the execution was bad. The author touched too many subjects at once and didn't explore any of them below the surface. With the emotions it felt like she was telling me to feel sorry for them or feel horrified rather than me getting those feeling by my self. It could have been so much more if she would have taken it slow.

Awww Bridget you might love it, I just didn't. I'm so disappointed that she went with the college cliche like there isn't enough books with the same concept. So far I didn't like any of the characters but it could just be me. I'm hard to please.
