Finished reading last night for our villain challenge and the story has promise but the MC irrated me with her wishy washy attitude. Might read book 2 to see if she improves since the story is interesting but if she continues with her stupidity then I'll stop the series at that point.

Halfway through , this is so freaking effed up!! I feel dirty...disturbed but oddly intrigued...what is wrong with me?!

I felt the same way, Belkis. That's why I never read the second book. Violet was annoying as hell.

I finished Half-Blood and am about to start I did really like Aiden but honestly I think I might be a Seth fan. I am just a sucker for a bad boy and I love his snarky attitude.

Currently between 3 books. Started listening to need to finish off this series. Also halfway through and enjoying the heck out of Ethan Blackstone! And a quarter way through which is also very interesting. Too many good ones :)

Good!! Some people weren't a fan, which is a shame. I think it's really well done. And I love Fisher Amelie. Callum and Harper is one of my favorites

I was very torn up until Deity because Seth was such a sexy beast of a bad boy! I am 100% Aiden after what they've been through now, and though I still love Seth in my own way, he can't hold a candle to Alex's man!! =)

Yeah, I'm almost done and I am honestly kind of speechless right now. I have read some REALLY controversial books over the last two years, but this one just doesn't sit right. Why she chose to use the certain details that she did will continue to baffle me well beyond the last page, because it could have been a really heart-wrenching, sexy story without making it so completely...wrong.

Haha Annie it's good to see where your heart lies. I'm about to start the second one so we'll see if my opinion changes. I won't say I don't have my reservations about Seth just at the moment I like his humor and way of dealing with Alex.

I agree I definitely see the similarities between this series and VA and I LOVED VA. I ended up buying all the books after reading them lol but this series is good and I've heard that later books are really different from VA so I'm willing to give it a chance. Plus, it works for this months challenge lol

Sorry ladies. I feel like it has been a while since I was here. The past week was crazy and I don't even think that this word describes it well enough. I feel like I've been run over by a train and then trampled by a herd of elephants on fire. So did not have much time to come on here. Or to read actually.

But I finished and absolutely loved it. Now reading and liking it so far. Marie Hall is really creative.
Once I finish this, I will be reading . Curious about it. I love Heather Topham Woods books so I am sure I will enjoy it.

Yes I read it first before reading the Fever series. I really liked all of the Highlander series. And I found that it made the Fever series even better because I was used to KMM's take on the fae and some of the characters make appearances in the the Fever series too :)
