I'm 25% into Belong To You (Cole, #1) by Vi Keeland , and it's as if the Beauty From Pain (Beauty, #1) by Georgia Cates story was moved to Hawaii, chopped to make the sex scenes arrive sooner, and exaggerated for dramatic flair (when a guy's estimate of how many sexual escapades he's had is 500-1000 he may have a psychological issue that requires meds). I honestly thought I was being punked for a moment there. Ah, well, aside from this and some editing needed, it's keeping me entertained. =)

And if I get bored, I can always stare at that close-up of Pepe...*le sigh*

Yup Tiana, I will tell you that the MC grated me quite a bit throughout the first half of the book and I wrote as much in my status updates. But then, for some reason I somehow backed away and thought to myself that if I had to go through all of the uncertainties that she was facing and deal with the loss of such an important person in her life while discovering that what she grew up considering as truth turned out to be less than. She kept fighting her own nature. She feared embracing the things that defined her and brought her joy because she was so much like her father. And so was Will. Then I accepted her because she was going through self doubt and weakness and fear. By the end of the book, I was in love with everything about the story :)

Oh I wanted to toss my iPad at the wall by 10% into
Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls, #4) by C.C. Hunter !! I can't believe this series has such high ratings, it's like the exact same dialogue and narration is put into 4 different books and called a series! So I finished Belong To You (Cole, #1) by Vi Keeland , and it was just so-so. Very hot steamy scenes, but I couldn't get over the insta-love feel and the far-fetched storyline in many areas. And the errors...ugh, spell check should have caught most of those!! I'm not sorry I read it, but this wasn't impressive.

Loving being back with Cat and Bones, and I'm also starting Twisted Summer by Lucy V. Morgan for blog review (this could be ugly, I agreed to this one on a whim).

Lol, you did better than me, I stopped at book 3. I just couldn't continue. Book 1, I was like wow. Book 2,....really? Book 3, for the love of god make up your damn mind and stop being so wishy washy and emotional about everything. I'm out! Seriously I think we read something different than everyone else because I have no clue why the high rating. The House of Night series by P.C. And Kristin Cast, one of my least favourite series of all time beats it hands down as being overrated.

I know, right? Chick so needs to get over herself and stop being damsel in distress! Ugh, fourth book and still the same? After this one I'm done then. I just don't get what the hype is all about and how can you identify yourself with Kylie. Don't get me wrong I love drama as mush as next girl but Jesus she takes it to a whole new level. It's shame because this story had really good promise.
