Amanda (amandafoxy) | 42 comments I'm reading The Storyteller as part of the Kindle Book club April read and it's a great story. It's definitely heart-wrenching!! I've read quite a few books based around WW2....this one is up there with the top few. Jodi Picoult at her best.

Crap that's insane! Although I'm probably just as bad, I'm trying not to add anymore until I get through the ridiculous number of ebooks I already have. Doesn't help that I get a bunch free every month for the blog reads, now they're just adding up exponentially!!

Another blog review DNF for me, I'm really disappointed. Sweet Oblivion (The Sweet Series #1) by Bailey Ardisone has nowhere near enough low reviews for how poorly written it is, I guess enough honest people just haven't picked it up. Live and learn, I guess!

I finished Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #1) by Larissa Ione last night and it was of course great; not as brilliant as the Demonica series because there was a little too much world-building and not enough time spent on the relationship, but nothing would make me doubt Larissa's writing!

Trying another blog review with Goddess Legacy (Goddess Series, #1) by M.W. Muse *crosses fingers*, and picking up Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake for Lost Souls month!!

Irene ~ Witchy Reads (witchyreads) | 422 comments I was just wondering, I don't have many books in my collection that I have not finished, when I have gotten around to read it, I think maybe it just my stubbornness or something, cause I see many ppl here that DNF books.. Its very new to me, so far I can only think of one, but its Always more the matter of another book being more interesting..

Yeah, the writing was very juvenile and the characters were far too one-dimensional to catch my interest, so the flip-flop between different worlds just irritated me to no end. At 30% it was a DNF, and now I'm a bit paranoid about my selection radar for blog reviews! I can't keep passing them off as DNF, but I can't stomach these amateurish reads either. This is definitely making me appreciate honest negative reviews in a whole new light!!

OK so back to serious stuff. I have just finished Hereafter (Hereafter, #1) by Tara Hudson and it was a lot better than I thought I would. Don't usually go for the ghosts but this was pretty light and cute. Now I am listening to Killing Floor (Jack Reacher, #1) by Lee Child because I have read most of them but the first one.
