I didn't like Sweet Evil very much either Belkis. It was really disappointing because I was really wanting it to be good.

Carol Nicolas | 53 comments I read the Hex Hall Trilogy, and I really enjoyed them. Have you tried the YA Raised by Wolves series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes? Or try the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs (not YA).

message 21309: by Tiana411 (new)

Tiana411 | 701 comments I should be reading my R2R but I keep putting it down which is not a good sign for me. Last night I finished Naked (The Blackstone Affair, #1) by Raine Miller and Losing It (Losing It #1) by Cora Carmack , both were quick easy reads. I enjoyed them both. Was it epic? No, but they were good.

Jody I'm still going with Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia it's taking a while. Anyone seen the movie yet? How was it?

message 21316: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Kobus (rainbowsunset) Reading Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancey. It's moving a lot slower than The Monstrumologist, and a bit less exciting; though certainly not bad.

Okay, so I'm still reading an ARC of Give Me Something by Elizabeth Lee , but I could not get my mind off of Sebastian to save my life so I also started The Education of Caroline (The Education of..., #2) by Jane Harvey-Berrick . Really hating Caroline right now; I thought she'd be repentant and apologetic after what happened in the first book and she's not even close. She's actually the exact opposite, so it's really making me angry at her character!!

Loved this book. But then again, I've loved all the books in this series. They just keep getting better and better. Not sure how JLA does that. I am chomping at the bit for Sentinel. Can't believe it doesn't come out until the end of this year. Serves me right for reading Apollyon as an ARC! LOL!

JLA is just awesome! Don't think I could read anything by her I didn't like. So far that has been true anyway. I just started the Covenant series but it will have to be very good for me to like it better than Lux. Who knows, could happen.
