My God, why do people want to read this book? It's so sad and devoid of hope. And if I read it, all I would do is think about what if my teenage son got cancer. I read Death Be Not Proud in high school, and all I wanted to know was why, why did my teacher want to torment me so.

Bleh. I hate cancer. It's taken my whole family, and I'm the only one to ever beat it.
