I am, though Abby is making me frustrated right now. Maybe once she explains her past better I'll understand why she is fighting this so hard because right now, I just don't get it.

She explained it a little bit just now. Right after I typed that, she seems to have finally made a decision. Now it's just a matter of seeing how it all works out.

Yeah, she's one of those characters that you just want to grab by the wrist and say "oh for the love of god, come ON!" for awhile, but once she and Trav start spending QT together it's fine! =)

I actually almost never read books like this, but I loved beautiful disaster. I hope you enjoy it!
@Heinzypop: I agree! Graceling was like that for me. I put off reading it for a long time because of the mixed reviews, but now it's one of my favorite novels. So I'm trying not to read too much into other people's opinions of a book before I have the chance to form my own.

Yeah it's funny how the words of a story always remain the same but each reader gets something different out of it every time ... amazing if you tell me!! :)

I've renewed it from the library 4 times before actually starting it. :s I think the heaviness of it swayed me not to pick it up. Wish I would have sooner now.

No, no, no!!! It's a 4-book series, girl, we've got another one coming!!! That's why I'm holding off on Indebted for awhile, I don't want to have to wait too long between 3 and 4!! =) She's working on it now, I told her we're getting impatient. lol

I had to read the first chapter of the second book after the incredibly upsetting ending to this one, but I'm going to have to take a breather (no pun intended) and read something light before I get more into it. My heart can't take any more of it today, it's just too much!!

I cried at the ending, I mean WTF??!! Good lord, that was just cruel and unusual punishment!! So glad book 2 is out, I read the first chapter just to get past the shock!! Erin, honey if you thought the 1st one was overwhelmingly heartwrenching, then Emma and Evan's story in this sequal is going to have you in the fetal position! I'm glad book 3 isnt out yet bcuz there's no way in hell I could take reading it right now! Im tore all to pieces!!!

a little later, because Goodreads tells me the sequel's not out until December. :(

It's one of those books that is going to make you question your sanity but the ride is so good and Travis is just like all the guys I grew up with and stayed the hell away from LOL what the hell...my cousins are still like him so it's a constant reminder...but the book is unforgettable...I loved it!!
