Uugghh that's so lazy. I'm so glad I pre-ordered mine & it arrived Monday. I've noticed depending on the suburb you live in, sometimes shops are really lazy. Where I live, I think they think we're all illiterate bogans who would light a fire with a book instead of read it. I can't remember when I bought a book (outside of a $5 book shop we have lol) not online last.

I don't seem to have that desire to find out what happens next in this book, that I did in the first one. Maybe it's because my attention is mostly focused on Sherlock (tv show) right now. lol. But Insurgent seems like a good book still.

This series has gotten very repetitive for me; I SO want to love it b/c the story could be great, but there's too much monotony and dead time where there could be some creative fillers!!

Heinzy, aren't you suppose to be in bed? I don't know how you do it.

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 257 comments Just finished Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James and boy did I love it. I'd have finished it faster, but reading more than one book at a time trying to meet so many challenges is making me take a little longer than usual.

Speaking of challenges, gotta get to the one for this group. Starting with Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst and already I love the author for her first two lines in her acknowledgments: "I'd like to thank the Edwards, Spikes, Eric Northmans and Draculas of the world for not turning me into a vampire. I hate the taste of blood."

Katrina Welsh (katrinawelsh_) I just Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth and holy guacamole, it was amazing. It was an emotional roller coaster and I just felt exhausted after finishing the book, but in a good way. Don't know what to read after though...
I've got Unearthly by Cynthia Hand , A Child Called "It" (Dave Pelzer, #1) by Dave Pelzer , Chains (Seeds of America, #1) by Laurie Halse Anderson and The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot, #1) by Agatha Christie waiting on my bookshelf and I don't know which one to pick up next. Suggestions?

message 7249: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 453 comments Trying to focus on finishing my owned copy of Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3) by Kristin Cashore , but I have so many library books to get through! I'm either going to start Pure (Pure, #1) by Julianna Baggott or The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater next, I think.

@Katrina: I read A Child Called "It" (Dave Pelzer, #1) by Dave Pelzer a long time a ago, and I remember enjoying it.
