Crossed took me forever to read, and I just had to force myself to finish it. It was like walking then more walking then some more walking. UGH I hope book 3 is better.

Oh, Jody, it was so freaking monotonous up until they meet, then it was just downhill ridiculousness from there. I'm not reading the 3rd book until reviews come out, I won't waste my time on another one if it doesn't get a LOT better.

I decided not to finish . I just skimmed it to find out what happened, and it was still depressing enough to make me cry without getting the whole story. Not recommended unless you want to hate humanity and get a lesson in how racism is universal. Jeez, why did I read this!

Yeah, its a YA dystopian from before the days of Hunger Games. Published in 2000. Its British and was critically acclaim so I decided to try it. Bad idea.
