For some reason, the picture on this cover doesn't really stand out. I expected more definition from a Riordan cover.

I'm not sure how i feel about it either. I think they're going for a darker look but it all kinda just runs together.
I like it! Maybe it's just because there's Percabeth on the cover?? :P SO excited for this book.
I like it too. I like the Percy and Annabeth and I like the way they're holding each other and trying to get out of there and Percy's looking back like crapcrapcrap and those little grabby smoky tendril thingies and a bridge and for some reason a magma river. I need it.
Did you finally read Mark of Athena Jenny?
Man do I need to get on these series every one keeps talking about them

It's keeping on the same theme of the rest of the books but I like the clouds (or is it smoke?) on this cover. 
I like it... but it reminded me of a McDonald's strawberry sundae ice cream...
She looks kind of like a bloody octopus...

I was about to say I liked cause I love Octopus... seriously its my dream to be an octopus lady :( and I have no way of achieving it

Isn't it! I have horrible nails myself, but I admire those who don't.
I can't even colour within the lines never mind paint my nails thematically. Very impressed. :)
The zombie nails actually caught my eye too.
I loved those too. But I also loved the Fault in our Stars nails.

I like them all, but TFioS is definitely the set of nails I'd recognize on the street.
Yeah, that did occur to me, that a lot of them I wouldn't recognize without the nails holding the book! But I would with TFioS.
This cover is stunning.
I've been staring at that cover since the first time I saw it. I don't even know what that's about but I want it because pretty!
I don't really like allegiant cover. Maybe I did expected more. But I like insurgent and divergent cover! They are so pretty!
I guess I'm happy enough that the covers all go together in a cohesive theme. But I will have "Thank you for flying Allegiant Airlines" stuck in my head every time I see that cover.
That book was up on Netgalley a couple of days ago, but I wasn't sure whether or not to get it because the ratings seem to be mixed. It's so tempting though.
*hisses* Netgalley!I keep getting all these "You're auto approved to read..." or "Our June line up is..." or "Look at our Read Now!" Emails. It's torture since I'm on a Netgalley Diet.
It's always strange the books I get approved for and the ones that I don't... haha!

I want this book SO bad, even if the cover is kind of lame.
That is a rather lame cover...and man I need to read the second one!
Did you both read Roar and Liv?
I have not, should I read it before starting the second?
