Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments For some reason, the picture on this cover doesn't really stand out. I expected more definition from a Riordan cover.

message 902: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I'm not sure how i feel about it either. I think they're going for a darker look but it all kinda just runs together.

message 903: by Katy (new)

Katy | 478 comments I like it! Maybe it's just because there's Percabeth on the cover?? :P

SO excited for this book.

message 904: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (narcisse) | 1946 comments I like it too. I like the Percy and Annabeth and I like the way they're holding each other and trying to get out of there and Percy's looking back like crapcrapcrap and those little grabby smoky tendril thingies and a bridge and for some reason a magma river. I need it.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments It's keeping on the same theme of the rest of the books but I like the clouds (or is it smoke?) on this cover.

message 910: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (narcisse) | 1946 comments It's dresscloudssmoke!

message 911: by Sandra (new)

Sandra | 867 comments I like it... but it reminded me of a McDonald's strawberry sundae ice cream...

message 912: by Angie (new)

Angie (pinkindle) | 828 comments She looks kind of like a bloody octopus...

Leonie (leonierogers) Angie wrote: "She looks kind of like a bloody octopus..."

That's precisely what I thought when I saw it!

Gwennie (blessedwannab) That's really cool!

message 920: by Emily (new)

Emily (librarylil) | 358 comments Isn't it! I have horrible nails myself, but I admire those who don't.

message 921: by Tellulah (new)

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) I can't even colour within the lines never mind paint my nails thematically. Very impressed. :)

message 922: by Carina (new)

Carina Haha! I'm the same way Tell!

message 923: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (narcisse) | 1946 comments omg the zombie nails are awesome

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) | 162 comments The zombie nails actually caught my eye too.

message 925: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I loved those too. But I also loved the Fault in our Stars nails.

message 926: by Stacia (the 2010 club), groupaholic, YA-MA founder (last edited Jun 24, 2013 01:27PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments I like them all, but TFioS is definitely the set of nails I'd recognize on the street.

message 927: by Emily (new)

Emily (librarylil) | 358 comments Yeah, that did occur to me, that a lot of them I wouldn't recognize without the nails holding the book! But I would with TFioS.

message 931: by Carina (new)

message 932: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (narcisse) | 1946 comments I've been staring at that cover since the first time I saw it. I don't even know what that's about but I want it because pretty!

message 933: by Daphne (new)

Daphne Chan I don't really like allegiant cover. Maybe I did expected more. But I like insurgent and divergent cover! They are so pretty!

message 934: by Stacia (the 2010 club), groupaholic, YA-MA founder (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments I guess I'm happy enough that the covers all go together in a cohesive theme.

But I will have "Thank you for flying Allegiant Airlines" stuck in my head every time I see that cover.

message 935: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Wow, that is an awesome cover!

message 936: by Stacia (the 2010 club), groupaholic, YA-MA founder (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments That book was up on Netgalley a couple of days ago, but I wasn't sure whether or not to get it because the ratings seem to be mixed. It's so tempting though.

message 937: by Carina (new)

Carina *hisses* Netgalley!
I keep getting all these "You're auto approved to read..." or "Our June line up is..." or "Look at our Read Now!" Emails. It's torture since I'm on a Netgalley Diet.

message 938: by Leea (new)

Leea It's always strange the books I get approved for and the ones that I don't... haha!

message 939: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I am too! Except I never get approved for what I want!

message 940: by Stacia (the 2010 club), groupaholic, YA-MA founder (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments This is weird. I thought we had an Angelfall topic. I guess not.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments I want this book SO bad, even if the cover is kind of lame.
