After finishing Love in the Time of Cholera I started reading a book by one of my favorite authors, Tiziano Terzani, and the book is A Fortune-Teller Told Me: Earthbound Travels in the Far East.He was a journalist who lived in Asia for several years and after a warning by a fortune-teller he decides to travel across Asia in train, bus, boat and by foot for one year.
I like so much his writing style but also his osservations and his thoughts about the lands he visits, their history, culture and traditions.
I'm reading many books simultaneously, as a result of which I'm finding it difficult to get through at least one! It's The Fakir by Ruzbeh Bharucha for now. I've read around 75 pages and like it so far. It's full of emotions. After completing this, I would take up Inferno by Dan Brown, or maybe some other book.

Jack Reacher #1 was wonderful.. I finished it very quickly and enjoyed every page of the book.. :)
Currently reading The Warrior by Ty Patterson and The Three Musketeers.. Will go on a Frederick Forsyth reading spree from Monday... :)
Currently Reading - The Krishna Key by Ashwin Sanghi.

What do you think of it?"
It reminds me of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, not so perfectly written but still worth reading. Sometimes I wonder that if all these were actually true then what would happen. its so ineteresting dat u dont want to put it down but have to. this as well as the Shiva trilogy has forced me to take a keen interest in Indian Mythology now. I would definitely recommend dis one for all.

Sounds great would like to read it sometime !
I started also reading The Collected Tales of Nikolai Gogol but this is my "beach-book". I read it only on the beach and a collection of short stories is perfect for this purpose!

Good to know! :)
I am reading the secret letters of the monk who sold his Ferrari. I haven't read its prequel but I am finding this book really interesting. The storyline is not important here..its kinda philosophical..

Just read it and I too found many similarities between both books !
Im currently reading a separate peace by john knowles and thinking of reading the beach house by Mr patterson :)
@anyone here has read The Notebook? just started and the writing is gripping. I am/was reading The Client. The suspense is great and characters are well etched. but at the beginning of each chapter there's such a long block of description that I found myself skipping passages.
I have finished A Fortune-Teller Told Me: Earthbound Travels in the Far East by Tiziano Terzani. Amazing!
Just finished with Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho and currently reading Little Women by Louisa M Alcott and enjoying every bit of it and after i finish it shall read the sequels by Good Wives (Little Women, # 2) Little Men (Little Women #3) Jo's Boys (Little Women, #4)
Finished House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti....I was disappointed with it...Maybe after The Bride Collector i had high expectations from Ted Dekker..Now i'm reading Three Act tragedy by Agatha Christie....loving it....
Reading my way through the entire Parker series by Richard Stark (better known as Donald E Westlake). Am at about #7 out of 24. This is considered some of the best crime fiction ever written. It's a must-read series for (a) crime fiction fans, or (b) admirers of terse, crisp writing, or (c) students of writing, who want to know how to explain a character in as few words as possible.
Just finished 'The Missionary Position : Mother Teresa In Theory and Practice' by Christopher Hitchens.
He critically analyzes Mother Teresa's actions or lack thereof and makes a pretty convincing case that she was nothing but a religious fundamentalist. Let's just say I won't look at Mother Teresa the same way ever again. It's not very long (98 pages) and I recommend it.

I always forget this discussion :/I started reading eFiction India Vol. 1 Issue 07. It is a collection of short stories by different new Indian authors and it is free for download here on GR.
Reading - Stolen by Lucy Christopher..
I am on Anand Neelkantan's Asura and Govinda. Both are mythological heavyweights so the progress is slow. In between, I sneak out and read a light romance novella on my ipad just for some variety :)

Oh that's great! I picked it randomly from a friend and didn't read any reviews or anything about it on goodreads. Blind shot. Glad to hear you liked it :)
I am almost half way through it, and I am really enjoying it.
