What Did You Finish Reading/What Are You Currently Reading?

I'd stay away from Gods Behaving Badly. I love Greek & Roman mythology and modern books about it, but this one is all about sex and it's absolutely ridiculous. I agree about Jane Eyre, I read it recently and loved it.

I totally agree about Jane Eyre. If you didn't like it in HS I'd say give it another shot. I think its a great book for a rainy day, especially if you have a warm beverage to sip!

Finally finished Forever in Her Dreams and started Journal of a UFO Investigator: A Novel my latest Goodreads Giveaways I have received. So far, it is really fun.

Whoa. That's a lot of classics at once. I'm not sure I could handle that. Hope you're enjoying them!

Whoa. That's ..."
I barely read anything contemporary; sucker for the modernist era.

I finished Journal of a UFO Investigator: A Novel late last night and it was really well written and a fun read.
Received Friendship Bread: A Novel yesterday in the mail, so am planning on starting that today.
I love getting free books! Plus, this one has recipes in it!

I also finally started reading Pride and Prejudice the other night. I think one will be read at a much slower pace though.

Sonja, how was Sharpe's Eagles? I've thought about reading that series. I quite like the TV series. (Though that's partially because I find it funny in all the wrong places...)

I loved that book. I thought it was soo good!
Just started American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

Anna, I read the book and then saw the film (assuming you're talking about Never Let Me Go). The book was a slow start but after the first fifty pages or so it really picks up and I ended up enjoying it very much. The film, on the other hand, wasn't so great! Definitely recommend the book over the film, in any case!
I finished Freindship Bread which was really good, and now am about half way through The Complaints. It has been great so far too. Love it when I like the free books!

I'm about to start Jane Eyre. I'm super excited, even if my American Lit teacher totally spoiled the hell out of it for me.
I read Ash over the weekend and started The Confession last night. Ash was an interesting take on the story of Cinderella.

Daisy, I am completely opposite, I didn't like Emma but I enjoyed the Luxe, not the best book ever by any means, but I liked it more than Emma.

I LOVED Outside In! I like all of the books by that author. You'll have to let me know what you think!

And, ya. I'm the same way with Maria's books. :)

I got it as an ARC through NetGalley :) And it's supposed to be out since February 22nd.

Now I'm reading Mere Christianity. I'm going to start Frankenstein this weekend and hopefully The Lost Hero and/or Gods Behaving Badly sometime soon!
I saw someone mention Jane Eyre. I've only read that once - as an assigned high school reading no less - and hated it, probably for that reason. I'd love to give it another go sometime soon as well! The "to-read" list grows exponentially!
