Smetch - glasses do NOT make you old. I have many friends who've gotten the computer glasses in their 20s. It's because we spend too much time at the computer!! I always wore glasses or contacts, so I haven't needed a separate computer pair.
Do you only have to wear them for the computer? If so you get to blame The Man and not old age.

Same here, I've had mine since 3rd grade. It's mostly due to the fact that my eyes refuse to function properly together. I do believe that my propensity for referring to my left eye as "my bad eye" gives me a visitor's pass to Old Lady Town, though.

Yet another reason I hate my job: sitting in front of their stupid computer 9 hours a day is killing my eyes but they won't contribute to the cost of new glasses.

Now the only problem is getting my prescription updated so I know which lenses to get.
I like those. I've actually used this site too, it's legit. Along with your prescription you need the width between your eyes which my eye doctor hadn't given. Take it from me - don't guess.
Holy shit! Thank you, Erika. I got a pair of glasses from them a few years ago and forgot that website. Now I need a new pair because I broke my backup glasses.
