So it does! Thanks for letting me know, Alicia. I'll try again :-)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4834 comments Got it.

Interesting - so many people are horrible with roundabouts. Especially if they go the opposite way than you are used to, due to not driving on the right side of the road.

I learned them (called glorietas) when I learned to drive in Mexico City - once you can drive there, you can drive almost everywhere else. Except possibly India.

Sounds like a story in its own right :-)

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments Talk about the law of diminishing returns! I've just been looking at the monthly totals for sales of my books. For May, it goes like this:
2011-2012 391
2012-2013 355
2013-2014 76
2014-2015 24
2015-2016 11
2016-2017 10
The interesting thing is that, in 2011-2012, I only had one title on sale and sold 391 copies, now I have four titles and I struggle to make double figures. Can I have a time machine, please? ;-)

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments I see there's talk of Stoke becoming a City of Culture! I had some thoughts on this topic a few months back:

I wasn't even considered young and happening when I was young and happening!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments A cruel injustice!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I was born in Lincolnshire. And spent pretty much all my life in Ireland. As it happens ;)

You must have made a hell of a wrong turning coming out of Boston!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Well I was only 6 weeks old at the time, so my map-reading skills weren't as finely honed as they are now.

T4bsF (Call me Flo) (time4bedsaidflorence) Well 6 weeks previous to that, you managed to find your way out of a dark place into the light - with no map at all!! :-)

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments Hello!

That's about it, really. Just letting you know that I'm not dead yet, although I have had 'man-flu' for the last few days, so that's near enough ;-)
